It seems to be the python version of another text for R
The contents of this text borrow heavily from a Chapman and Hall text on using R for genomics analysis. I am reading both simultaneously and find myself reading the same thing twice. The R text has a 2021 publication date.As I get further into the text, it displays differences from the R text. However, it was obviously rushed to publication without glancing at the proofs. The photo above shows an apparent note to someone, maybe the publisher, to insert a tutorial on keras. As can be seen, there is no such tutorial inserted...

a bit too shallow
Deep learning is an emerging trend in genomic analysis. So far, this is the only book on the subject. So I am very happy to buy this book and have a good summary. The content and explanation are a bit too brief. I wish, in the future edition, this book could be more illustrated and the different approaches could be discussed more in depth.
