a fast tester for track
works and a fast very easy to use to test for power and direction . No wires , I had one its very robust until you tread on it ha ha . I find its a tool that s very handy to have simple instructions .. Turn power to track on forward place tester on track and press gently it lights up red or green to indicate power is getting to track and the direction of travel

Track tester for basic testing
Testing on model railway it was cheap and compact and does a basic test but does not show variation other than on or off. For the price it is ok and easy to use.

I am building an N gauge model railway and being fairly new to this hobby I have found this track tester so useful.Quickly lets you know of any faults and tracing back to where they are. Could not do without it.

I have not used this myself but was a small gift for a relative who is into model railways.He said it works perfectly and saves a lot of time trying to work out where power is being lost. I bet it is a pain to take the track apart and put it together again trying to find what is wrong but seems to work well for him.
