Works very well,I use it for an outside fire pit I built. The cast iron build of it will give it a very long life being outside exposed to the elements. Very useful grate

The fireplace grate is definitely a quality one. Arrived as scheduled. No issues.

Appears well made and it has some weight to it and painted.Hopeful it will hold up for many burning seasons to come. (The old one lasted over 2 decades)Before using, inspect for any sharp edges or pointy spots; if any are located simply smooth with a light filing if needed. This is sometimes typical with items that are cast. It held up well as expected for the first couple of burns. Keep in mind….. grates such as these should be handled gently and not dropped to prevent cracks as they age.

Fast shipping, product same as pictured. However, I was a bit suspect when I picked up the box it came in and surprised how light it was. If you're a fire every day or every other day through winter, you'll be lucky if this lasts a season. It's thin but given the price, it's still a good value.

My old grate cracked and deteriorated. I had been using at least 13 years. This arrived quickly and I have used about 8 times so far and its been working well.

Really good quality. Not one of the flimsy ones you have to replace yearly. Legs are long enough for airflow around the wood, which mean a better ignite and burn.

I dont know how this grate will stand up under continuous use this winter, but it seems good and heavy duty.

The description in the title is totally misleading to the consumer, stating that as it is solid steel when an actual fact it is cast iron. I am very disappointed.
