Here Comes the Fun: A Journey Into the Serious Business of Having a Laugh

Well....it certainly does what it says on the tin!! A great read and full of ideas .No excuses ......read it and get started ....put some fun in your life like Ben did.

Very much enjoyed the fishing chapter and the cruise.

This is the second book by Ben I’ve read. The first was The Marmalade Diaries last November. That was such a brilliant book and I absolutely loved Winnie. Which is why I got a bit choked up when I read Ben’s dedication in this book as it’s to Winnie who sadly passed away this year. Thanks again for sharing her with us.I have to say I really enjoy Ben’s humour and his way of looking at life. Diving into a year of near daily journal type entries of his experiences…new or routine was fun.Yes, fun.I even laughed at Ben’s corny jokes. That Russian doll one is a true classic!We go along with Ben while he goes cold water swimming, attempts yoga, volunteers at a charity shop, takes line dance lessons, and has a go at Improv. Trust me these are only a few things that fill up the pages of this book.There were quite a few moments I could totally relate to. And, at other times I found myself having knee jerk reactions to some of the things he attempts. You can really tell he had fun with his research and writing this book.

Fab book! Lots of lols and some serious stuff. Nice balance.
