Giving it 5-stars because it does what it's supposed to do a competitive price
The card reader is a no-frills, does-what-it's-supposed-to-do card reader. It is based on the ASMedia ASM2362 chipset which is a 10Gbps chipset.Based on my testing, it essentially hits those speeds when hooked up to a 10Gb or faster USB interface. As show in the pics, I tried it on both USB 3.2 Gen1 and USB 4.0. There was a slight bump on the USB 4 interface, but nothing that would be noticed outside of benchmarks. It has a tiny blue LED that lets you know when a card is installed, and it flashes when there's activity. Thankfully, the days of obnoxiously bright LED in devices seem to be gone. This LED is just enough that it's not distracting. If anything, the only complaint might be that it's recessed a bit far back, so you can't see it at all if you're looking at the reader at greater than a 45° angle.Given that the market of 20Gbps (or faster) card readers is slim and they cost nearly double or more than this unit, I'm very happy with this (10Gbps) unit. For the purposes that I need, this card reader performs exactly as advertised at a solid price.

Heats up!
This isn't a good device, as it was heating up.

Seems fast and accurate; hope it is durable.
This allows surprisingly fast download of large quantities of CR3 Canon images (about 45 MB each) to my ancient Mac laptop. Works well with both CFast-B and SD card. The USB-C plug seems a little tight, though this is probably good. If this device is durable, it will be an excellent buy.

Doesn't recognize sdcards anymore
Built material was poor but it was working fine at the beginning. I am using more than 1 year but sdcard port doesn't work anymore.

A compact USB reader for your CF and SDCard memory chips
When you need to access data on CF or SDCard format, a small reader like this is exactly what you want. It is relatively tiny to save space, and it accepts the cards directly and makes them available as a drive letter in the OS. I do like the fact that it comes with TWO cables -- one for a standard USB port on a computer and one for USB-C port -- so that you can connect it up to an older system or a modern laptop with USB-C only.My one concern is the USB-C port on the reader itself -- it was not designed to accept the entire USB-C connector -- but rather it sticks out a bit (as shown). This looks abnormal, but it is just the way the port was made. (As I believe the outside contact is the shield, it shouldn't short out anything.) On first uses, the port seems to be nice and tight, preventing the cord from falling out. However, it took a LOT of force to remove it, too. That may be the fact that it is a new port that will loosen up over time, but I hope the need for extra force doesn't promote early failure.Otherwise, it quickly connected up to my Windows 11 system and advertised itself as two drives, G: and H:, on a NORELSYS NS1081 USB Device. Ejecting the media through the USB applet worked as expected, and I had no issues with using the device while connected.
