Q: What is the difference between $18 and $35 Sd card, both are having same part and year? Also will the $18 sd card work on 2023 Madaz 3?

The CX-5, CX-9, CX-30 Mazda 3 all use the same SD Card. Mazda sells the SD card for $450 and with that you get free upgrades for three years. The Navigation card is locked into your VIN number after first use (so cannot be moved to another vehicle). The cards available on Amazon and other retailers will work in the Mazda Navigation system and give you some functionality. There seems to be no difference based on selling price. The downside is that if you attempt to update the maps on these SD cards, Mazda will recognize this OEM knockoff and tell you that it is unsafe to use and to stop using immediately as it may harm your vehicle. The maps on these cards are already several years old. Many streets and roads constructed in the last four years are not on these maps. I have found no company offering to update these maps or sell newer cards. Your navigation system will work with these cards, even though maps are outdated. It will show you compass, speed limits, you can set destinations (although newer addresses will not be recognized). Other than being outdated, these SD cards seem to provide the same functions that the Mazda Navigation cards costing $450 execute.
