Bcb Bushcraft Fire Dragon Cooking Kit

This product does exactly what you would expect. The version that I was sent was slightly different from the one advertised, there is no tray but a centre piece that is built into the product for burning the fuel in. It arrived in good time and is perfect for purpose, lightweight, compact and well built. A great little product.

A great little stove, great price, and I love the button compass in the handle of the ferro rod. It is an update on my old Hexi burner, a bit lighter and more compact, with a built in wind shield. I moved the compass ferro rod to my emergency EDC and swapped this kit to my standard one and a lighter.

Good product and works well however the little foil tray provided for the fuel to go in is not very robust for repeat usage. If using the stove a lot I would recommend buying a small tin or some sort of tray to use instead, but this is a minor point as overall this kit is excellent value for money!

Really great quality for the price, it's small, ergonomic and works precisely as intended.

Tried 1 brick yesterday to heat about 300-400ml of room temperature water, it didn't really boil but did get hot enough for a brew, thankfully the water was already sanitised but wouldn't suggest one brick for unsanitary water. I think if i had a protector or other could have worked better.

Certainly worth the money. The included firesteel is decent quality - compass in the handle only useful as a back up but still a nice addition. The fire dragon gel lights easily and burns fairly clean. The stove clicks into place reassuringly and supports a small pan/ mug without any trouble. It sits flush on the ground when opened and will scorch the earth unless you sit it on a stone or similar. Fits into pocket of condor bottle holder or simlar with room for cutlery or spare fuel. Overall a good purchase.

It works really well, the British Army use it. I highly recommend it.
