Works. Doesn't come with a battery so don't forget those and make sure you insert it correctly. Though not listed in the specs it will work with the JVC KW-M788BH.

Absolutely perfect
Purchased this replacement remote back in August of 2024. I always try to give myself some time before reviewing a product such as this to ensure the review is as accurate and beneficial as possible. I bought this replacement remote for my KW touchless car-play stereo that came with a recently purchased vehicle as trying to use the touchless controls while driving was a bit distracting. I added a battery to the remote and just pointed it at the stereo and it completely works out of the box 100%. The only downside is a battery isn't included so make sure to have one ready. Very easy to use.

I never had a remote for my deck since I got it too bad it doesn't have better options on it as its very basic but functional.
