What does a size small end up being in numeral size?

Hard to say. If your player is average height and build, they should fit fine. Keep in mind, these are relaxed fit. My son in tall and slim and these don't fit the greatest. A little baggy and short. Wore them a season then out grew. Hope this helps.

Good looking, durable pants

Got these for my 8 year old for baseball. The pants are holding up great, dirt washes right out of them, and they look good. They are a little on the long side, but my wife hemmed them (maybe a little too short) to fit. Overall, they give a nice professional look to an 8 year old that is just learning the game.
