Buzz strip blinds
Bought these, thinking they would be the thick quality these blinds used to be. How wrong can you be! These are so thin, that the slightest puff of wind, and they are heading skywards and tangling. In fact, on one set (I bought two), the white strips weren't inserted properly, and just dropped out as I unwound it. They lasted two days, and I took them down, and consigned them to the bin.

THRILLED TO BITS!
Amongst other things which get on my nerves, FLIES are the biggest. I cannot abide flies, and this year, in the recent hot, hot heat of July, we seem to have had a plentiful supply of the little bug bears.I tried some voile curtains on a rod fixed over the door to stop the flies coming into the house, but because I have two dogs, I had to leave a small opening at the bottom so that the dogs could come in and out, and the flippin' flies found their way in through that little gap.So ... I ordered two of these Strip Blinds and the moment they arrived we put one up at the door and since then we have only had three very unlucky flies who have managed to get in via a teeny opening in a window. They didn't stand up to the husband with muscles and a fly squat! But the Strip Blind is BRILLIANT!I'm SO pleased with it. No flies have managed to get past the moving 'ribbons' and the dogs are happy to walk through them, even though they hang right down and almost touch the floor!Ok... one dog did take a few hours to learn that she could actually go through them whenever she liked and didn't have to ask for assistance... but once she'd got the idea she was well away then!I'm completely thrilled to bits with these ribbon style blinds and would definitely buy them again.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Very much worth the money for the peace of mind and NO PESKY FLIES!If you've found my review helpful, please would you click the 'helpful' button below so that I know I'm not wasting my time leaving detailed reviews. Many thanks! :o)

Strip curtain
Well, I was pleased with it at first, did the job it was supposed to do. Nice summery colour too, being orange, red and yellow, Then a week later, , one evening as I sat watching TV, the strips started to fall off, one by one! Not sure why, but a total of 7 fell to the floor leaving big gaps! I dont think they are tightly put into the white bar. I have reverted back to my old strip curtain which I have had for years and definately more robust! Will have to see if the strips on this new one can be put back into the white bar and glued to stay in place! Dont buy unless you are prepared to mend it! As they come in pairs, I have not undone the other one yet, but expect it doing the same!

Total impossible rubbish
I cannot emphasise enough how awful this product it. If I could give it no stars I would. It may be okay just if your windows are the exact size however for most they won’t be. The instructions say it can be easily trimmed, this is not the case. Firstly you apply the very thin and not so sticky plastic strips around the window and then you add the net to the strip and cut off the excess. The mesh is thin and easily pulled and simply doesn’t cut very well so you end up with a raggedy edge. The mesh isn’t great the gaps are quite large compared to others. It also tears. Also regardless of how your windows open you have no means of getting to the handle without pulling off the mesh to reach in. This causes the mesh to pull. Avoid at all cost.

DOES NOT WORK FOR MIDGES!
Why even bother putting 'midges' on the description?I bought 4 of these nets for our Vivaro camper conversion, we were heading up to Scotland to a festival on the west coast. The first night we camped by Loch Fyne, we knew it would be super midgey (as it was June) but we were confident in our midge nets. We soon found that the midges were landing on the net then simply crawling through the holes so we soon got eaten alive. The rest of the holiday we had to keep all openings shut which in hot early summer wasnt too fun.The nets are made well, they come with some thin velcro that is really handy and provides plenty of coverage but the net just isnt fine enough for midges, keeps the mosquitos out and other crawlies but thats it. So now Ive wasted £20 and still have to fine a different alternative.

Great affordable product
Great cheap way to keep the flys out.I had no idea what colour it would be but it didn't matter. Easy to attach to the door frame. It's thin plastic but it will do the job for summer and can be reused again next year as it is pretty sturdy.

IT's virtually invisible and does the job of keeping the flies out
I was dubious about a net being held up by hook and tape as hook and tape have a tendency for the hooks and loops to be overly strong and even detach from the material it's supposed to attached to but I thought given the reasonable price that it was worth a try. Having set this up I'm pleased to say that I'm happy with the result. One thing that will amaze you is that despite the colour, these are virtually invisible unless you are really close up to the net.The net itself is fairly elastic so it's possible to set this up quite taut and I'm also pleased to say that the hook tape actually to my surprise works really well. The hooks are not too "grabby" and have just the right amount of grab so that I can unhook the tape easily and re-attach to enable to access to the window handles.

Very flimsy, ok for indoor use.
A slight breeze and it is useless. I’d suggest for use indoors, (if you have a porch or conservatory use on door to adjoining room, not on the external door. :)Lengths of strips are not even, can trim, but already quite short for standard UK door height. (but what do you expect for price(
