works well with regard to fit and general operation. My display at times goes out and then comes back on, I have played wit the cable but that did not fix it. Also if you have a powered external drive, anytime your computer goes to sleep, it will read your drive as being incorrectly ejected. I got 40 messages over one weekend. After reporting this to the company they proactively offered to refund my money and also stated I could keep my dock and offered solutions to try to keep my drive connected. In the end I was able to find a solution which was to keep my USB Hub powered not only by the USBC connected to the computer but the additional port for USBC power input on the dock. That solved the drive disconnection issue. Well done, and great customer service. Now this dock is a part of my daily workflow.

i've had this for less than 6 months and it stopped working. considering it's nearly a $200 item, that is sad. Reached out to seller so we'll see what they say. but the MagSafe option doesn't charge the computer and as a result doesn't wake up the computer unless you change your settings and i use the other usb ports for other things, so unless i give one up just to power it, then i can't use it. do not get this. you're better of just finding a shelf for your computer and just connect these 3 ports directly to your mac. it's not like it gives you "extra" ports anyways. i wish I knew this before i wasted my money.

We've got a pair of these at our office and they both work perfectly. We were previously using just the macbook holders where you still had to plug in the cables by hand and it was tedious if they were in an out of meetings where they were constantly unplugging and pluggin back in cables. This dock does that for you, has a nice secure feeling connection and lets us keep those wires neatly tucked away. Yes it's on the pricey side but it's built well and does exactly what you want it to do.

Set up quickly, is stable, works well with my connecting and disconnecting laptop. Will hopefully minimize wear and tear on my device. One huge miss: the headphone jack is covered and not utilized. Now have to rely on BT headphones which have charge/connection issues. Preferred my wired cans. Otherwise a solid product.

THIS DOCKING STATION IS PERFECT. WORKS WAY BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED.

The overall build quality is nice and sturdy, my M3 MacBook Pro slides in great, however, the MagSafe connector is very loose and can be rocked back and forth in the socket (not like the built-in connector of the MacBook which STAYS in place), which means you have to fiddle with it until it's just right and starts charging. Very frustrating to work with. Because of this, I often had trouble waking my Mac from sleep (because macOS requires that it be plugged into power for external displays to be turned on while the lid is closed) and I believe it's the reason my displays blacked-out a couple of times (during a meeting!!), but that could have been a different issue. If you're not planning on using the MagSafe, and just charging via USB-C, then this product should be fine for you.

product worked great few a while and then just quit working. highly not happy with this as I will have to buy another one

This $229.99 Ascrono Dock for my 2024 16” MacBook Pro (M4 Max) was a disaster. It failed to charge my laptop due to a loose MagSafe connector and wouldn’t connect to my monitor or peripherals. The tight fit scratched my brand-new MacBook, and the website never clearly warned I’d need to remove my protective cover. Worst of all, this faulty dock destroyed my MacBook’s MagSafe and Thunderbolt ports, confirmed as the cause, leaving me with a hefty Apple repair bill. It’s now a useless paperweight. Avoid this overpriced, misleading product at all costs—protect your MacBook and choose a reliable USB-C hub instead.

super handig. werkt gewoon met mn Thunderbolt 4 aansluitingen. Je schuift je Macbook er met 1 hand in en uit.

Sehr gut, man muss das Macbook halt davor einschalten und nach dem Ausschalten wieder herausnehmen udn einschalten... Wenn man das weiss dann ist es kein Problem...

Fait le travail qu’on lui demande. On aurait toutefois aimé quelques détails de finition. D’abord, qu’il soit plus lourd afin de réduire les chances qu’il bouge quand on introduit ou retire son ordinateur. Ensuite, même s’il ne griffe pas la coque de l’ordinateur, un lit en feutré aurait donné un aspect plus premium. Enfin, les connecteurs ne donnent pas un fort ressenti de qualité. Manque de concurrence dans le secteur!

Urun saglam, kaliteli ve agir bir aluminyumdan yapilmis. Masanizda herhangi bir sarsinti dahi olsa hareket etmez. Kurulumu ve kullanimi cok kolay. Ancak 16" MacBook ile tek el kullanimi cok zor takarsiniz ancak geri cikaramazsiniz cunku MacBook cok agir. Benim aldigim urunde problem vardi geri gondermek zorunda kaldim. MagSafe ve USB-C ayni anda takili oldugunda Monitor sinyali kesiliyordu ve gosterge yanip sonuyordu. MagSafe'i cikardigimda ise sinyal geri geliyordu. Maalesef geri gonderdim ve tekrar benzer sorun ile karsilasacagimi dusunerek ikincisini siparis etmekte terettut ediyorum. Ancak hale iyi bir alternatifini bulamadim! Eger bir indirim uygulanirsa tekrar siparis etmeyi dusunebilirim! 😉 Evet urun pahali ancak sadece bir urun aldiginizi dusunmeyin Ascrono gercekten hem satis oncesi hemde satis sonrasi cok iyi bir servis sunuyor. Her turlu problemde cok hizli bir sekilde cozume kavusturmak icin elinden geleni yapiyor. Kisacasi verdiginiz paraya degiyor.

Ho voluto fare questo acquisto dopo aver riflettuto molto. Sono soddisfatto, tuttavia alcuni componenti non sono perfettamente fissi come per esempi l'innesto magsafe dell'alimentazione, ma alla fine funziona... Sono molto insoddisfatto sul prezzo veramente esagerato per un pezzo di alluminio, solo che non ho trovato di meglio per il mio Mac book pro...
