My wife gave me the Hamilton Tungsten Sphere as an executive novelty gift / paper weight / book end and it's the coolest gift I’ve ever received. The sheer weight of this small powerful sphere just staggers everyone who picks it up – it has the strongest desire to be one with the floor, and after carrying such an immense weight in a small form, all other everyday objects seem light and airy by comparison. It's like Thor's Hammer, as anything under it is completely pinned.To give this perfectly smooth tungsten ball a rating of anything less than five stars would be to dismiss the fact that this is the heaviest known element in the universe, denser and heavier than gold or uranium. This rare earth metal is so strong and dense, that it is immortal. It will outlast anything and everything you will ever know. This tungsten ball is a supreme example of science, physics and engineering and teaches so much.In fact, I am so pleased with this amazing "super gravity" ball's value that I've ordered several additional ones in different sizes, for myself and as gifts. I can’t wait to experience the 4KG size.My sphere came perfectly packaged, and it included a nice wooden base to display it, but I prefer to move my sphere to different spots in my office to show it off and get people to try and pick it up.While it could be a paper weight - because it's so heavy, it's tough to easily retrieve anything underneath it – it's easily the most astounding thing in my house. If you need any excuse to buy it, then it's also great for arm curls or hand and forearm exercises. If you can learn to lift it easily, then you'll be stronger than anyone you know! I doubt the amazement will ever wear off!
