Q: If my waist says I should wear a small in these should I order medium since the reviews say they're sized smaller than expected?

They run small. Definitely order the next size up.

Q: Do they have an opening in front?

No. No opening. Extremely disappointed. I guess Fruit of the Loom now expects men to sit down to urinate. And they're thinner than previous breathable underwear.

Q: How is the room in the crotch area? My teen often complains his boxer briefs pinch his balls but he doesn’t like feeling unsupported with boxers?

I personally like the micromesh boxer briefs great support in all areas, with the addition of being breathable and lightweight!!

Q: For those thave worn these for a months or more, do these stretch out or get looser over time?

I have been wearing these for a couple of months now, and they have been washed numerous times and I have not observed and stretching or loosening of the briefs.
