The control box of these RGBW outdoor string lights is weatherproof. The adapter is not weatherproof. At present, among the adapter-powered light strips on the market, the adapters are all not waterproof.

How many strings can be connected together.. What is the maximum string extension length?

You can link 2 48ft sections together, it can only connect up to 96ft.

Hi, I'd like to add an unlit extension. Do you know what the connectors are called so I can increase the distance between the wall plug and lights?

How bright are these? Can you read a book under a string? Say 10 feet below?
