This should be a once in a lifetime purchase and, judging by the quality. looks as if it will be. It is sharp, well made in every respect and eminently suitable for the job of cutting animal bone. It is not cheap and I looked around, initially, for something cheaper: in the end settling for this, because of the perceived quality. The frame is rigid and holds the blade firmly; the moulded handle is durable and feels comfortable to hold and use. Recommended.

Nothing wrong with the saw. Well made and fit for purpose. However, reviews indicated next day delivery to Scottish Highlands and speedy delivery to Outer Hebrides. I ordered on 12.03.17 and it finally arrived on 21.03.17. Nine days seems to be less than adequate.

Easy cleaning,blade change in seconds.I am very satisfied with this product.Not the cheapest on the market but well worth the extra cost

good sturdy saw,used as soon as it arrived,should last a good long time even though it has plenty of red deer to cope with

I brought Butcher hand saw by Dolomiten, I used this to cut frozen meat, its the best saw I'v usedit cuts through the frozen meat like butter.

Saw itself is great, poor quality on the blade though as its already rusting despite good care

The Butchers saw was ordered with the knife set and it arrived fast and very well packaged as it is very sharp. Good strong handle and looks as though it will do the job very well.
