FANTASTIC READ
Well after the cliffhanger we were left with at the end of Trying Not to Love You, I knew that Megan was going to come out guns a blazing...Hunter vows to protect this fiance and child from anything that may cause them danger. We already know how protective MacKenzie's brothers are. For years, MacKenzie's family has been keeping a few secrets from her. One pertaining to her family directly and one concerning Hunter's family. Will MacKenzie understand why they kept these secrets from her? Will she see it as if they didn't trust her? Why did everyone know, but her? Will MacKenzie be able to forgive those who she loves because they have been lying to her, her entire life? Both Hunter and MacKenzie (a/k/a CC) have grown since they first started dating. I felt as though Hunter treats CC as his equal, now that they were engaged. She is his partner in life. It is easy to love her, as Hunter says. Yes, Hunter knew the secret that her family was keeping from her, however, it wasn't his place to tell her. That was up to her family on when they thought MacKenzie should know.Yes, Hunter kept a BIG secret of his own from her, but I understand why he did it. After CC's accident, she didn't need any unnecessary added stress, so he did what he thought was best to protect CC and his child. Did that mean that he didn't trust CC to handle the truth from his past? NO !! It meant that he wanted to tell her at a more appropriate time. At least that is what I thought. Hunter would never intentionally hurt CC. While Hunter is trying to find the right time to tell CC what he has been keeping from her for all these years, Hunter uncovers "another" secret, one that he didn't even see coming. Now let's discuss Mason. Mason never ceases to amaze me. Yes, he was a pompous ass in Trying to Love Me. Yes, we all wanted to smack him upside his head. He is an OVER PROTECTIVE brother to say the least. Was the secret that Hunter was keeping from CC, the real reason why Mason didn't want Hunter dating his sister? Did Mason not think Hunter was good enough for MacKenzie? Mason is in a league of his own amongst these characters. He is definitely a ladies man. Will Hailey be able to handle Mason? Does Mason want to settle down and be exclusive with Hailey? Do Hailey and Mason has a future? You'll just have to read the book.Cooper, Cooper, Cooper. Cooper and Jaylinn's relationship has my head spinning. I can not for the life of me figure out what is going on between the two of them. Do they have feelings for each other? Are they dating? They are always together, but I just can't put my finger on what is going on with them. You can definitely see there is chemistry between them, but will either of them act on it.There were quite a number of twists and turns in Easy to Love You. Some of which I NEVER saw coming. I think Megan knocked the ball out of the park with Easy to Love You. I felt as though the story flowed effortlessly and I was captivated from start to finish. I am looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for Mason and Hailey. Oh boy, I already know I will have whiplash from these two...

Very Excited and Pleased with the outcome
I have been waiting to read this ever since Trying To Love You ended and left us all hanging. Megan Smith had me falling in love with Hunter all over again. All the twists and turns are great and it was awesome how she incorporated Mason and Hailey's points of view into all of it. I can not wait for the next book to come out. The writing is easy to read but does NOT get boring at any point. The struggles with ups and downs and how you see how much all the characters love eachother are what makes this series so awesome. I will definitely be reading the next book.

FIVE STARS for Easy to Love You
Easy to Love You (ETLY) is the second novel in Megan Smith's The Love Series and picks up where the first book, Trying Not to Love You (TNTLY) left readers cliff hanging. No matter what struggles lay before us, we will keep going, because we had the will and strength to overcome it all. No matter what was beyond our control, nothing would ever make us less than the family we were.Overall, I absolutely LOVED Easy to Love You. I felt like in this installment, the characters had matured significantly since we first met them in TNTLY, but at the same time, they were still the same."I don't know if I tell you enough Hunter, but I'm so proud of you." She got teary eyed. She looked down at her hands and said, "If it was anyone else, I'm not sure if they would have stuck around."I fell in love with Hunter all over again. He was forced to fight for his family and the love of his life all while facing unexpected twists beyond his control. Page after page, his internal struggles and guilt made my heart ache while the unending love and loyalty for his family made me root for him the entire story.Something new to ETLY was how Megan incorporated passages from Mason and Hailey's points-of-view. Hailey has quickly become one of my favorite female characters because she was the perfect amount of sarcasm and spunk to balance out the heavier moments in ETLY.The storyline had me engaged from start to finish. The author incorporated a variety of lighthearted and tender moments with some heavier drama and several twists that felt like a punch to the chest. I laughed, I cringed, I gasped, and I cried but not once did I want to put ETLY down. I felt satisfied with the ending and thought it was the perfect segue in to Hard to Love You (Book Three in The Love Series), which is Mason and Hailey's spin-off novel."I can conquer the world with one hand, as long as you're holding the other."If you haven't already one-clicked Trying Not to Love and Easy to Love You, you must be living under a rock. These are two MUST READS for 2013, so go give your clicking finger a workout!

Not worth it to me to read more of this series
Books 1 and 2 could easily have been combined into a single book. Two weren't necessary. I see that there are going to be more books in this series, but I think I've had enough. Going through more drawn-out stories just isn't worth it to me. If this author had a tighter, faster-paced writing style, I'd read on to find out about the other couples, but I'm now done. It just got tiresome for Hunter to go on and on about "Yeah, I know I should tell C.C. but.." while everyone kept telling him to tell her. After he got so jealous in the last book if she'd accidentally run into/talk to her ex-boyfriend Dominic and not tell him, he was being hypocritical. Also, although there were less misspellings and grammatical errors in this one, the book still demonstrated a grammar deficiency on the part of the author and/or editor (example: using "there" when the word should be "they're" (for they are). If you're going to write a book, you need to have basic grammar skills! (Or at least the editing should find and make those corrections).

EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER! FANTASTIC!
So.. where to start? I am a younger reader, I read Trying not to love you in june and I was left dying to know "does she die?!" There were numerous days I wanted to shoot megan and yell at her to hurry up and finish writing. The content of the book is fantastic, and I was deeply enthralled in the book. I read it in 3 hours! All the vocabulary was relevant, the detail and content is perfect. For anybody pondering upon buying this book, DO IT! you will fall in love with megan and the book the way I did! Megan is a lovely lady and deserves lots of praise for yet another fantastic book! totally worth the money.

great read
I was so happy to read this book and to finally find out what happened to CC after the horrible car accident!Trying not to love you left us with such a huge cliffhanger, and i must say Megan didnt disappoint us in this book it followed on perfectly.I just love this series, the characters are so wonderfully woven together. The whole family atmosphere between all the characters in the books is so heart warming, it doesnt matter which family they belong too there all in it together they watch each others backs.I think when a book is written from several POV it give you a fuller meaning of the story, especially when there are so many characters involved. In this book we get more of Hunters POV which is great to see inside his mind when all around him seems to be falling apart. Hunter will do anything to protect CC and there baby even when it could cause more problems in the long run.The babies name is brilliant im so glad the kept chaos in there it just fits so perfectly.Hunter is so dreamy he is just such a good guy how he treats CC is so very charming , but i do think they forgave what Brittney did far to quickly i wanted to see her get what is coming to her, maybe in future books?I still love Hunter and his story with CC was just fantastic to read, how they developed as a young couple with a new baby in the middle of all the chaos with the accident and all the extra family stuff going on, but i must say i am so looking forward to future book from this great family.Mason is next but i want Coopers book so bad the whole thing with Jay throws up so many questions.Megan's book are so emotional and you get so invested in the out come for each character, for me that shows good writing, when you feel for the characters and there situation, when your pulled into there world for that short time your reading, the author has done a good job!
