APOLLO Baster Rubber, Multi-Colour, 35x10.9x5

Wanted a baster to use when working on car to suck out power steering fluid (it takes all sorts and all uses !). This was absolutely brilliant. Very well made with a bulb that doesn't fall off. This would be equally at home basting a turkey or for use on a BBQ. What else can I say other than it was posted quickly, arrived safely and is serious value for money (£1.55 incl postage - what can you buy for that these days ?) and is every bit as good as the wife's baster which she uses in the kitchen and paid a tenner for at the local cooking implement shop.Top notch, if I need another I will buy from these guys again.Andy

I brought this one as a gift I have had the same type for years and couldn’t do without it l use mine mainly to siphon meat juices and leave the fat behind, best to put it in a glass bowl or jug first then you can see the fat . Hope that’s useful

This does the job perfectly, but difficult to clean as I couldn't remove the rubber bulb

Jackie I am a socialist and a Eurosceptic because I believe that the European Union is being run to favour the banks at the expense of workers. I think that the neo-liberal economic system has resulted in a situation where poor people are trailing round Europe to fill unskilled posts, uprooting themselves from their culture and breaking up their families, leaving their old people behind. I think that this situation favours banks, companies who do not have to pay more than the minimum wage however hard you work or whatever new skills you acquire. It favours people who already own houses and who can get a buy to let mortgage sometimes run a large number of buy to lets. It favours recruitment firms who don't have to advertise factory jobs here at all and can get big fat commissions from hiring from the EU. It means that people from EU countries instead of fighting for better working conditions and social provision in those countries move to countries like the UK and undermine those same things here. I did however vote to remain as I do believe in a socialist Europe where people from across Europe fight for decent working conditions, health, housing and education. The politicians and the business elites helped by the academic institutions and the Media however undermine at every turn any hint of working class unity and while I think that despair is a sin I am disappointed not so much at the result as I think that working class people have been treated with total disrespect but at the lack of critical thinking and laziness in thinking that pervades modern culture and a willingness to give power over to people who are so obviously dishonest.

I had an ink spill and needed something that was going to suck it up good and proper.This device is ideal! Great construction and held the liquid inside before needing to be dispensed.I've kept it aside just in case. A high quality Baster.

This baster came on time and was well packaged. It was such a bargain for the price! The only problem is after its sucked up the meat juices, they only stay in if you hold it horizontal. Otherwise they just fall back out. There's obviously a problem with the suction. However, using it to suck up juices, holding it horizontal and then pouring them out over the chicken is bearable! It's very durable plastic and we have put it through our dishwasher with no issues.

Good value and easy to clean and use. Won't get better for this price.
