I recently purchased this Trolley Jack for my car and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. My first car jack, so shopped around first. Used it today for the first time (my first time jacking up a car).It was very easy to use the jack, did not require a lot of manual effort at all. I was very surprised by this, and it was one of the things I was worried about when purchasing a jack at the £50 range. Do not let this concern you as a rookie, all I can say is this jack does the job well for a good price.As for the weight, it was surprisingly light for me, but this is relative.Advice: read the manual that it comes with. It contains vital and useful information on how to operate and initialise (drain air/fluid). Make sure you know the jacking points on your own vehicle to avoid damaging it, and consider buying axle stands for additional safety. You can purchase a rubber grip to avoid damaging the underside of your car but the truth is it's not really needed as such. I bought one and used it when jacking the car from the sturdy metal part that bolts the seats in place, but did not use it when jacking via the jacking points. I think I avoided scratching the metal, but it's already scratched tbh so I shouldn't really have been concerned.Last thing... be careful out there, if you are unsure STOP and only continue once you are.My car is a Suzuki Swift (2007) if that's helpful :)

Tengo un Montero y este gato levanta la rueda sin problema alguno. Es robusto y se nota en el peso. A mí no me importa. La base es de buen tamaño para subirlo sin problemas. No lo subí al máximo y la rueda inflada se cambia con mucho espacio respecto al suelo. Contentísimo con este producto.

Me hacia falta un gato mas potente que el que tenia para levantar un volvo xc70,viendo la oferta que habia me decidi por este,buen precio y tenia buenas criticas.Me llega y lo primero que observo es que me ha cogido aire en el transporte,habra ido de aquellas maneras y me ha tocado purgarlo y rellenarlo con aceite hidraulico.Lo pruebo en vacio al lado de mi otro gato y veo que solo levanta 10cm mas,me imagino que me sobrara pues he leido a gente que lo usa en todo terrenos,la diferencia de piston con el viejo es notable,de ahi las 3tn que levanta,me imagino que el viejo se quedaria en 2tn o menos.No me gusta la chapa negra que tapa el piston,en mi unidad va metida a presion pero de aquellas maneras,constantemente se me sale,lo he solucionado con unos agujeros y dos bridas unex a uno de los tirantes que lleva,el asa de plastico tampoco encaja muy bien que se diga en las tuercas.Metido en faena y poniendole el taco de goma(recomendable para no marcar los bajos)levanto el coche en un camino de grava,sin nada debajo(suelo poner una madera)solo para probar,perfecto,tampoco me levanta una barbaridad,pero me ha levantado las 2 ruedas de un lado con el gato medio clavado en la grava.Despues de observar bien de cerca el gato me dado cuenta porque se me salia la chapa y no me encajaba bien el asa,una de las chapas laterales grandes(la izquda) no esta bien alineada en el montaje y queda ligeramente abierta en el eje del bombin,por lo que el asa ni la tapa llegan a encajar bien,esto no afecta a su funcionamiento pero le resta puntuacion aunque tenga un buen precio
