Well, as some have said already, the scooter goes 3mph in pedes mode, and will not move in all other modes from a stand still, only pedes, as the other mode just needs a push off to get it moving, then you just need to press the accelerator, this is a safety featurebut what i have noticed is, if you use a phone holder on the handle bar so you can control the app as you ride, when you are going in pedes mode press any mode and all modes work, but if you stop in any mode other than pedes mode it will not accelerate again, from a stand still, so if you know you are about to stop press pedes mode so you can go after you have stopped or just use the push off to get it moving in Eco standard and sport modes..The app has now been updated on July 2023 and will be the last update it will now only work on android phones up-to 2022 some of the app options have changed from the old app and the route map is now gone!scooter is well made, also the back tire is solid rubber..

I see people saying that the scooter didnt work for them. The scooter works in all modes, you just have to kick it (pedal) for it to work because of safety precautions. the scooter speed has to be above 5kmh before the motor takes off. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!!! The motor is very quick and if you’re not ready you may end up flying off. Overall the scooter is very nice, big wheels give you a lot of control and even grip in different weathers, lock allows you to prevent it from being stolen although i would rather get a lock + lock the scooter for extra safety. The electric brakes work really well although you wouldnt wanna slam it every time you want to break as in the long run it may do some damage. So just be careful how you ride. Also scooters are still illegal in the uk think? not sure but in my town police aren’t too strict at all so i can basically ride it anywhere.

Just a short review. I have had a ninebot g max I gave to a friend it was super but I don't give rubbish gifts I have 6 electric scooters and a electric bike in my small flat I got this as it was offered me at a silly sub 300 UK pounds price and can't believe the value, mine arrived in a ok condition box but inside was another identical perfect box the scooter unmarked the app on Android one worked perfectly just to check it was in sports mode it was already the app just turns the light on and off really and locks her up now it won't get used I don't need it now, scooter has twin disk breaking runs super strong up to the limit about 15 to 16 mph as stock handles perfect with big wheels fat enough tires wide bars good lighting. The only small thing is the battery it is small compared to the g 30 but I only go about a few miles on a wonder anyway around the shops if a ten mile ish range suits just get it it's solid and I may buy a spare

Absolutely fantastic so far. Only had it 24hrs but if it carries on performing the way it is it will be the best 250 I've ever spent.Solid build, great breaks and love the app where I can control lights speed etc plus it has speedometer built in the app

love my new scooter but the app wont download for some reason

While it does work out of the box or atleast mine did it's somewhat useless without a functioning app. The app hasn't been updated in years.

Great scooter, had difficulty getting it to work in different modes, see question and answer above. Only ridden a few times but no problems and really enjoying it. Recommended!

The scooter app is outdated is there a different version u can use to turn light off change the mode
