SuperFOIL Pipe Insulation 80mm x 7.5m - Pipe and Duct Lagging Foil Wrap

Wasnt sure of my boiler condenser pipe size outside so I bought this to wrap around it as the weather was below freezing for nearly a week. It was easy to wrap around the pipe and get behind the back of the pipe on the wall so it was a great buy. I pre cut long lengths to make it easier to handle p, then strong sticky tape at the joins plus some zip ties over that . Job done by a complete amateur female pensioner. Don’t hesitate, it’s a great product and cheaper than calling a plumber. Will protect from heat in summer too.

Does what we wanted it for. Adapted for external use on outside boiler condenser pipe as we had had trouble with it freezing. Not pretty but is effective.

This foil wrap really does work, it is easy to use and has so far stopped my pipe from freezing. It is best to use their tape to tape at the start and end of the pipe. Glad I went for this as I looked at other type of covers but they were either too long or too thin, never the correct size. I highly recommend this foil wrap.

The listing said easy to use, 'just wrap it around the pipe'. If you do that it just falls off. I assumed it would be adhesive and that's what I was buying. I know I can wrap silver tape around it but that doesn't make the listing honest. Supplier needs to be more specific to avoid misleading people. I'll update this review when I know if it works or not.

Mi sono ritrovato ad avere parte della tubatura dell'acquedotto domestico scoperta per il disfacimento della vecchia isolazione in lana di roccia, e da me la temperature scendono parecchio sotto lo 0. Per questo ho voluto spendere un po' di più rispetto al prodotto base consigliato, e le specifiche di questo multistrato mi hanno attirato. Il rotolo non è adesivo, ma si applica comunque con facilità anche in posizioni scomode come la mia (e io non sono particolarmente abile nei lavori manuali), basta avere un paio di fascette o, alla peggio, un fil di ferro sottile per fissare le estremità. Ne ho avuto abbastanza per fare un doppio avvolgimento, e anche così il volume occupato è minimo. Il materiale sembra buonissimo, ed anche esteticamente fa la sua figura con la sua lucentezza argentea. L'inverno è passato e non ho avuto congelamenti. Consigliato
