One of life's great bugbears is that if you want to try a new reed type or strength they usually come in a pack of 10 and you are out of luck (and pocket) if you don't like them. Three is an ideal number for a sample pack as you can be pretty sure to get at least two that are the same. If you buy two and they are different, you won't know which one is representative.

Absolutely amazing! And it's the perfect reed strength for me! ❤️❤️ But high pitched notes start to give way once I play the reed like twice or thrice.

I have always used Rico Reeds and was recommended to try these from my music teacher as the strength of 3 was not strong enough. These are not the same as Rico and are much stronger to play, but the tone is much richer. I'm impressed and will be using these from now on. However, this strength I would not recommend for beginners.

A good quality reed which produces a great calibre sound. The only thing I would note is that if you are used to playing Rico reeds then I found that they were a bit of a harder reed - going up in strength from a Rico 2.5 to a Vandoren 3.0 was very noticeable in comparison to a Rico 3.0.

Harder to play but because of sound produced its worth persevering with this reed
