UPDATE 23/05/2025 Just a small update on this cheapo dash cam. I keep thinking how long can this product last? I will keep posting an update now and again to report that it is still working and also when it fails. Again, I like the form that this camera takes as I can leave it attached to the rear screen and no one really can see it. I have a similar style on on the front windscreen and it is difficult to spot unless you are really looking out for it. UPDATE 17/01/2025 I think that I am quite lucky with this dash cam as it is still working. It was a cheap £24 dash cam and so I was not expecting much. Nothing much to report other than it still works. Just a reminder that I leave it in the car as it is quite a small device and you don't really notice it from outside unless you really look carefully. We have the rear window tinted so it makes it harder to spot. So it has experienced our hot summers and contrasting cold winters and yet still works. UPDATE 26/8/2024 I had always wondered how long this cheap dash cam would last. It is now coming up to one years since purchased and we are still working and with no issues. I do frequently check the footage to make sure it is recording and check a random few files to ensure that they are all the same length and play back. Just a reminder that it is installed as a rear dash cam that starts when the car starts. I do treat it as equal importance as the front main cam as both can tell the whole picture or capture as much as possible. You could argue why I did not buy a dash cam that can manage both front and rear streams. My front dash cam was also purchased on Amazon and is sub £50. I am the believer in keeping things simple. The two dash cams are not linked so if one fails then I may be lucky with the footage with the other but also a dual capture of streams is more complicated so my gut feeling with these cheapo dash cams is that it is probably asking a little too much for them to be 100% reliable. When I check the footage I do eject the sd card from the cam but do not delete or format it. I think you are meant to format on a regular period. I dont know what you would need to do this as I never format my laptop hard drive and reinstall Windows every year and it seem to still work. If and when this dash cam becomes landfill material then I will update this review but here is hoping another year of trouble free dash camming. I should point out that the car is used around 5 times a week, mainly for journeys lasting less than 1 hour but now and again a 2+ hour journey is made. I should also point out that I never remove the dash cam from the installation point so it can get very hot inside the car where it is placed. UPDATE : 8/3/2024 Just thought that I will add an update to this product. I bought it back in August 2023 and is always used as a rear camera for the car. It is still working with no issues and the video quality is still as good as it was when it was new. Will keep updating. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Already had a front dash cam but now wanted a rear facing one but had produce reasonable video without costing a lot of money. Found this one and I like the design format. It is similar to the one that we already had at the front. It is small and relatively discrete. I am able to wire it to the the rear cig socket to switch on with the car engine. Video quality is good for the price (just under £24) and seems to work ok. Had been installed for just over the month now and has operated each and every time. Naturally I will review my findings if it does fail. The mounting strips that are supplied are good as our surface is hard plastic with some kind of embossed pattern so not 100% flat.

+ The dash cam is small and doesn't obstruct my vision when it has been installed. It's also discreet enough that I am happy to leave it mounted in the car when parked. + The picture quality is good; there are certainly better quality dash cams out there, but most will be at a much higher price. (I bought this one for just over £20 while on sale) + The adhesive mount that is provided is very strong, just be sure that you are happy with where it is prior to placing it. + The customer service was excellent! The customer support staff I was in contact with (Daphne) was quick to respond to my emails and helped me to get the free USB cable that is available. + The dash cam has an internal battery, allowing you to keep using it (albeit briefly) after it has been disconnected. That's great for adjusting the settings/formatting the sd card outside of the car's mount. - The cable is a decent length but something to note is that you won't always be able to just push the cable into the edge of the upholstery as the video shows. This isn't a fault with the product but I felt I should mention it as some cars (particularly if they are cheaper or older) will not support this for a variety of reasons. In my car for example, the upholstery around the top of the windshield is frayed, meaning that it cannot hold the cable in place). Therefore you should be prepared to explore alternative cable routing options. - The dash cam's design doesn't really allow you to push the micro-sd card in far enough (it would have been nice if the exterior plastic had a dip in it around the micro-sd card slot). Because of this, you may have to use something small and thin, like a key, to get the micro-sd card to click in properly. - As mentioned in the "positives" section, the adhesive is very strong. However, as it is an adhesive mount, it will probably be far harder to adjust than if it were a suction mount (though that probably helps its low profile).

So viel Spass für so wenig Geld! Tatsächlich funktioniert diese Dashcam für unter 29,90 super. Das Bild ist scharf und die Farben knackig, selbst im dunkeln. Sie zeichnet brav minutenlangen Sequenzen auf und fängt von vorne an wenn der Speicher voll ist. Die Kontroll Leds an der Kamera sind bei Tageslicht viel zu schwach um irgend etwas am Betriebszustand zu erkennen. Egal, man schaut sowieso gleich aufs Handy, da die App gut funktioniert. Ebenso die Verbindung zur Dashcam ist stabil. Ich schreibe die Bewertung nach 9 Tagen Fahrt im Wohnmobil mit 2300km zurückgelegter Wegstrecke. Dabei war das Gerät zuverlässig auch bei 37 Grad Aussentemperatur. Der Beifahrer kann wunderbar Screenshots von der Fahrt machen oder gleich eine Sequenz speichern. Dabei stoppt allerdings die Aufzeichnung. Insgesamt eine gute Anschaffung, die sich vom oft entäuschenden China Krempel abhebt. Hier mal Daumen hoch und uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich, den ich aber aufgrund der grundsätzlichen guten Funktion und des geringen Preises nicht als elementar furchtbar finde. Das Handy (hier Android) ist im Betrieb nur !!! mit der Kamera im Wlan verbunden und hatte somit keine Daten Verbindung in Netz. Anrufe ja, Whatsapp zum Beispiel nein. Das heißt, man hat hat das entweder oder am Backen. Ist für die PKW Fahrer als info wichtig, im Wohnmobil kann man das mit dem, wenn eingebaut, Mobile Wlan Router umgehen. Trotzdem 5 Stars.

Per correttezza allego la recensione originale. Dopo la prima recensione sono stato contattato nuovamente dal venditore che ha chiesto dettagli sul problema. Questa volta riconoscendo il problema ed inviando una nuova dashcam funzionante. La nuova dashcam ha il G-Sensor che già alla sensibilità "media" funziona. I file vengono salvati però non in una apposita cartella ma nella stessa directory principale con la differenza che hanno l'attributo "read-only". Pertanto la dashcam rimane con un ottimo compromesso prezzo prestazioni in quanto la qualità è la stessa di dashcam molto più costose. Se salvasse i file "read-only" in una cartella separata meriterebbe le 5 stelle piene. Comunque va dato atto che il venditore, dopo il probabile malinteso iniziale, è stato disponibile a trovare una soluzione per il cliente. Quando ho ordinato la dash cam ero entusiasta, poi man mano che la testavo… Ma andiamo per ordine. La dash cam arriva nella sua confezione con un minimo di accessori: - cavo accendisigari lungo alcuni metri con presa USB-Micro (erroneamente definito car-charger); - un cavetto USB-A Micro corto; - un manualetto di istruzioni in lingua tassativamente inglese. La dash cam ha già montato il supporto, completo di adesivo (non marcato ed erroneamente dichiarato sul manuale 3M), per il fissaggio al parabrezza. E’ dotata di 4 pulsanti per effettuare setup ed intervenire manualmente su alcune operazioni tipo registrazione audio, fine registrazione e spegnimento. Internamente ha una batteria ricaricabile, usata in tampone per terminare le registrazioni in assenza di alimentazione. L’alimentazione è possibile tramite cavo USB-Micro che permette anche l’avvio della registrazione automatica. La registrazione avviene salvando i file su scheda micro SD non fornita. La dash cam, oltre ad avere una modalità “parcheggio” usabile solo se alimentata, è dotata anche di sensore G, configurabile su 3 livelli, per il blocco dei video che interessano incidenti. Ovvero se la telecamera rileva un urto salva il file in modalità solo lettura per evitare le sovrascritture. Personalmente questa funzionalità, che ritengo la più importante, non funziona, perlomeno nella dash cam da me ricevuta, correttamente. Va detto che ho contattato l’assistenza, prontamente reattiva, ma che però mi ha invitato a restituire l’articolo. Onestamente non ho ben capito se la mia dash cam era guasta o era un bug del firmware. Personalmente, nonostante il costo in offerta di circa 30 euro, ad oggi la potrei considerare un gadget. Valutazione che ad oggi non mi permette di assegnare una valutazione superiore alle 2 stelle. Grazie per aver letto questa recensione, spero ti sia stata utile.

Nach 4 Monaten kann ich auch mal mein Feedback abgeben. Die Kamera an sich ist wirklich schön und ist wirklich leicht anzubringen. Die Qualität der Aufnahmen sind auch sehr gut und erfüllen ihren Zweck. Es gibt leider keine Geschwindigkeits Anzeige während der Aufnahme was nicht ganz so schlimm ist. In der kostenlosen Version kann man nur die Videos aufnehmen lassen und werden auch so lange gespeichert bis die Speicherkarte voll ist und die Kamera automatisch dann die älteren Aufnahmen löscht. Wenn man sich die Dauer Lizenz für ungefähr 32€ holt hat man noch zusätzliche Funktionen wie z. B. Kennzeichen Erkennung, video Bearbeitung u.S.W. Braucht man nicht unbedingt aber ja^^ Jetzt zu dem negativen, wenn man sich am Anfang mit der Kamera über die WLAN Funktion verbindet ist das echt tricky, weil man am Anfang echt keine Ahnung hat, was aber mit der Zeit echt easy geht. Zudem hat man nur dann Zugriff auf die aufnahmen wenn man sich auch mit der Kamera verbindet (WLAN) und die Aufnahmen dann runter lädt. Die Kamera an sich ist nur dann angeschaltet wenn die Zündung des Autos angeschaltet ist da man die Kamera mit dem Zigaretten Anzünder verbindet. (Man kann sich auch ein Kit für ca. 10€ kaufen um die Kamera mit der Batterie des Autos zu verbinden.
