I’m so happy to have found these on Amazon. My 3.8 pound teacup Pomeranian is having her spay in a couple weeks and I was trying to find a solution for the basic cone typically used after surgery to parent kicking surgery area. She does not like the cone and tried to get it off (I tested it to see how she would react in a cone). I tried this collar today and she didn’t seem to mind it or go crazy running around the house trying to pull it off. It fits her perfectly and is a soft fabric. Seems comfortable and seems that it will be easier for my Pom to sleep and move around with it after surgery. I like the adjustable elastic band around the neck. Easy to take on and off. What a great alternative to the cone. Fingers crossed it will last the 10 days she will need to keep it on. I will be getting a back up one just in case! Functional and super cute!

Post-surgery recovery accessories for kittens are hit-or-miss, and I was skeptical about a donut collar for such a tiny animal. This one genuinely worked. The soft fabric donut design is much less distressing than the hard plastic e-collar — my kitten could still eat, drink, and sleep comfortably while wearing it. The sizing for 0–6 month kittens is accurate — it fit snugly without being restrictive and she couldn't reach the surgical site. Putting it on and taking it off is simple, which matters when you're dealing with a squirmy recovering kitten. It held up through the full recovery period without losing shape or its effectiveness. If your cat just had surgery and you want to minimize their discomfort during recovery, the soft donut style is worth trying before defaulting to the hard cone. This specific one is good quality for the price.

Worked perfectly for my kitten, he couldn’t get it off like the regular cone and seems much more comfortable and easy to do other things like play and eat than with the regular cone. And he looks super cute!

This works FANTASTIC for our new kitty we adopted, she got spayed by the shelter and I couldn't find a cone small enough for her little head and neck. It doesn't weigh her down. She can move, use the bathroom, play, eat and drink. She was a little like "what the heck" at first but she got very used to it very fast. Easy to clean (I did delicate cycle for the washer just incase), looks adorable on her, and I love the adjustable strap to make it tighter or more loose. For reference she's 2.0 Ibs exactly.

When we spayed our oldest kitten, the "cone of shame" was too heavy for her. She'd walk around wacking it on the floor and couldn't eat or drink with it on. We got this "donut" and saw a complete 180 in her mood. She was able to eat, drink and sleep comfortably. She could groom everything except her head and incision site. It wipes down easily for small messes like food. Washed well in the washing machine for major messes. I loved the fact that a collar isn't necessary to use it. Our kitten was in between collar sizes so we couldn't use it. The only thing that prevented a 5-star review is that the squeeze lock thing on the drawstring can slide loose when the kitten is determined to slide it off her head. My fix was using a small binderclip to keep the squeeze lock in place. Kitten #2 just finished testing it out and approves it too. The nice thing is, it fits adult cats too! I only had to buy it once!!!

I used these on my 2 month old male kittens after they got neutered and they held up very well! My kittens tried to take them off several times yet they didn’t budge. They’re very plush and lightweight so they didn’t have any effect on my kitten’s mobility BUT my cats tend to get under the bed so they did manage to get stuck so I’d say keep an eye on your kittens if they like to get in places they don’t belong. Cleaning was easy, just throw them in the wash. These looked very cute on our kittens and worked perfectly for their intended purpose.

In theory it’s a good donut/cone. I bought this after my kitten was neutered with the intention for using it when I was home so my kitten could relax, eat easier, see better and all that. Just to give him a break from the traditional cone cause he’s been moping around in it and acting like he’s stuck on things (it’s a soft flexible cone). Unfortunately within 45 minutes he showed me that he could reach his genitalia. It’s also pretty tight to get on and off even though he’s only 5 months and just over 6lbs. I’m still using the donut but not as much as a regular cone because he can still lick himself. But it does give them more freedom and comfort than a regular cone.

Soo much easier than the ridiculous cone they give you at the vet. My kitten seems much more calm and is able to do more and I'm happy that he stopped acting like he can't walk. It's soft, comfortable, and reasonable! My only issue is that the attached string to tighten it is way too long for a small size. I had to cut it halfway.

While it took a bit to get it on my kittens, I am so glad I persevered, because they both wore this like champs. They weren’t able to lick their parts that they weren’t supposed too. They were able to eat and drink. They weren’t bumping into the walls and getting stuck! No problem with the litter box either! A great buy!

I was disappointed with the overall workmanship of this soft Elizabethan collar. The shape is quite uneven, and the seams along the edges appear poorly finished. As shown, the stitching is irregular and some areas look loosely constructed, which makes the product feel roughly made rather than well-crafted. Unfortunately, the quality does not meet my expectations.

Traditional recovery cone was not happening with our kitten after her spay procedure. Having used a soft recovery collar before decided to give this a try after reading the reviews & it worked perfect! She seemed comfortable & it doubled as a pillow for her cat naps. The best part is she could eat, drink, sleep & use the litter box with no trouble at all. Bonus is she hasn’t been able to escape the collar & it’s washable! Definitely recommend!!

Really great it worked well for our 5lb Pomchi, it was a little big but it still worked!

I love this option. My kitten wasn’t as restrictive as much as using a conventional cone. She could play, eat, use litter box with ease and not be able to lick or pick at her incision. Highly recommend
