A nice little light for the money that checks several boxes.
The Ace Beam Pokelit 2AA flashlight checks many boxes for me. My kids do not understand my need for more than one flashlight. In my opinion, they are purpose-driven tools. I hope to have the light I need with me at the point in time I need it. I have lights by Mag-Lite, Sure-Fire, Stream Light, Fenix, NEBO & Olight. I daily pocket carry an Olight Baton III Pro Max.In trying to be prepared for life’s emergencies, I started to also look at flashlights that could be powered by AA batteries. This resulted in me purchasing several brands of lights including Olight, Fenix, Lumintop, Ace Beam & Others. I have not purchased a light from any of these makers that I consider to be unfit for my purposes. I personally like the Ace Beam Pokelit AA for several reasons. It is a good size, has a good clip, and I like its brightness step levels. I like the price too.My main purpose for this light is to give to family members to EDC or car carry along with a battery holder full of AA batteries. This is a simple-to-use light with a low low and a pretty darned bright high. It is easy to use. It has a good clip. The battery is USB -C rechargeable. It is small but not so small you cannot use it for its intended purpose. While it does not have a serrated bezel it would make a decent striking tool in a pinch. I hate to see people rely on cell phones as their light source. For 25 bucks this great little light exactly fits what I was looking for.

Really bright
The bright setting is really good. Dropped once off a ladder so the glass lens shattered, but it still works. Hate how you have to triple click it to get to bright setting.

Exactly what I wanted.
Sad how weak AA batteries are compared to new tech batteries but you need to have a AA battery flashlight because in the end times AA batteries will be what’s on the shelves not the rechargeables.

Bright, but limited in modes
I bought the Pokelit 2AA in the forest green color. I think many other reviewers would agree that the limited modes hinder what would otherwise be a great product. With the included 14100 battery, sometimes the 600 lumen high mode is too high and the 20 lumen low is too low. It would benefit from a medium mode, like 100 lumen. With 2AA batteries, the 300 lumen high mode can be rather high for starting out (although it does drop down to 100 lumen after about 35 seconds). The 0.5 lumen low mode (on 2AA batteries), is way too low for most purposes, so again, a medium mode would again be great.I actually bought a Pokelit 1AA in the OD green color, hoping to switch flashlight heads with the Pokelit 2AA, but unfortunately the colors do not match that well. The Pokelit 1AA actually has 3 modes, and I plan to keep it, but I am planning to return the Pokelit 2AA, due to it only having 2 modes and not the best mode spacing at that. The "higher end" (Pokelit 2AA) product should actually be better than the Pokelit 1AA, but that is not the case.I actually found this to be the case with the 2AA Olight i5T Plus and the 2AAA i3T Plus. The 2AAA version is supposed to get up to 6 hours at 100 lumen (according to the Olight website), while the 2AA version starts out at 550 lumen, but drops down to 55 lumen after 33 minutes.

Absolutely love this light!
I literally carry this flashlight on my pocket everyday. I use it all the time. The battery lasts forever between charges (though it does take quite a while to charge from dead).Easy to see when dropped, and 2 very useful/practical intensity settings.Highly recommend!

Value that works!
It's a little bulkier than some, but brighter and well made.

No deep carry pocket clip 👎👎
Needs different pocket clip that pushes the light deeper into the pocket. I returned for this reason alone. I never even switched the light on.

Good but not great
Well built and pretty bright for a 2AA. Battery it comes with can't be charged in any charger i have ever seen. You have to charge the battery by taking it out and using the USB-C port on the battery. I just save that battery for a backup and use my amazon basics AA rechargeables . Really wish this light remembered the last mode you used it in. It always starts out in low mode which is a bit too low for me. The bright mode is bright enough for most EDC uses, and the throw is decent for the type of beam and size of the spot. Overall its a good light with just a couple things holding it from being great.
