Reliable, Well-Built, and Perfect for Organizing Power in Any Setup
The Dynamode 12-Way Extension Lead is a solid and practical solution for anyone who needs to manage multiple devices—whether it’s in a home office, workshop, entertainment center, or server cabinet. After using it for several weeks, I’m genuinely impressed with both its build quality and thoughtful design. Build & Design: The unit feels sturdy and well-constructed, with a durable metal casing that’s a step above typical plastic power strips. It’s rack-mountable, but also sits comfortably on or under a desk. The individual power switches for each socket are a great touch—especially useful for isolating devices without unplugging them, reducing unnecessary energy use and wear on plugs. Functionality: With 12 sockets, there’s plenty of room for everything from computers and monitors to routers, chargers, and peripherals. The spacing is well thought out, though bulkier adapters may block adjacent sockets—common with most power strips. The 1.8-meter cord is long enough to offer flexibility without creating a tangled mess. Surge Protection: The built-in surge protection adds a layer of peace of mind, especially for sensitive electronics. In areas prone to power fluctuations, this is a critical feature that often gets overlooked until it’s too late. Conclusion: This power strip is more than just a multi-plug—it’s a well-designed power management solution for modern tech-heavy setups. It’s functional, safe, and reliable. Whether you’re managing a server rack or just need to clean up cable chaos under your desk, the Dynamode 12-Way Extension Lead is a worthwhile investment.

Solid multi-plug adapter
If like me, you seem to have a severe shortage of sockets in your house but a large collection of electronics this is ideal. A bit of common sense is needed when loading it up, I'm not an electrician but like with any multi-plug adapter I wouldn't suggest plugging in too many things with a high draw into one socket. I use this under my work desk with various low power adapters and it's been great. It feels sturdy has a cap to stop the switch being knocked, plates with screw holes on either end for attaching it securely to a surface and the surge protection is a bonus. It solves the problem of constantly plugging and unplugging various chargers and adapters which is great for my knees and back :) good value.

Very cost effect solution to multiple plugs.
Needed one of these to set up a battery charging station. This came in at a very affordable price without the gimmicks of USB ports and individual on/off switches that come on a lot of consumer focused products. Its been on constantly for the past 8 months and has not let me down yet. Its very sturdy with its metal construction and i feel will last a lot longer than the plastic white power strips you'd get in argos.

Power but long!
Provides long power, its like the dachshund of power strips! Power switch/Cable however was on the opposite side than the image suggests so you lost a star for that as its now upsidedown like this happy face :(

PDU that you don't need to rackmount
You'll see a lot of reviews of this product where people had some of the plugs not working, thankfully I didn’t receive one of those. All plugs were working and there were no plugs where it was difficult to put a plug in to. The construction is solid and these units should last a while. Although I didn’t use them the screw holes on the ends of the unit will make this very easy to mount anywhere. The plastic cover you receive that goes over the power switch is super useful for not accidentally turning off all 12 plugs at once. The ability to plug in all 12 sockets at once is great, most other units will not allow it simply because of the style of plugs you get with your electronics.

The best solution for my retro gaming setup
Initially had a problem with the wrong item being sent but this was rectified so won’t affect my railing of the product. This is by far the best way for me to hook up all my systems to one power bank. 12 sockets with no issues connecting any of my plugs. Surge protected which is hard to find on a power supply of this size. Mounting was as easy as drilling 4 holes and screwing in. The size is 32” measured from the ends of the mounting brackets and 30” for the actual power supply. Cable length is 67”. The power switch will light up red when on and go out when off. A light is also emitted for the power surge protection. Tempted to buy another...

Such a handy power strip!
The quality is great and it has the added bonus of 12 plugs and a surge protector for a good price! Made organizing my desk very easy as I've got a limited amount of plugs near by. I initially bought the 10 plug but didn't realize that it didn't have a surge protector so switched to this instead.

It works
Seems well-built, and no electrical issues so far. Plug configuration is opposite from that pictured (power switch is on the left), but not an issue for my application. Packaging could have been better - item was shipped in only its retail box and with no padding or wrapping inside, but it wasn't damaged on arrival so not a big issue. Saw one reviewer mention that there's a screw on the back side - there is, but it can be removed to enable mounting flush to a flat surface. Suspect this is for earthing if your power connection doesn't include it, but the plug is earthed so no need for a domestic installation.
