After having this book as a child I was overjoyed to randomly find it again when searching for letter books for my daughter. It's changed slightly since I had it but still a fantastic book, with each letter having its own little story. It's helped my 4 year old alot as she used to only say the letter not the phonics and since using this book with her she is picking it up. Lovely pictures and a joy to read.About my review:As I make most of the purchases for my young family, I always read reviews before making a final decision on any purchase. I rely on peoples honest comments about a product; therefore I will always leave an honest review, whether it is positive or negative. I try to include any pros and cons of an item when required. I will not just leave a review for the sake of leaving a review. I am more than happy to answer questions with regards to an item I have reviewed or about the review itself.

My 5 year old and 3.5 year old have both really enjoyed reading this book. They’re sounding out the letters without even realising it. The fact that I can use my phone to read the story aloud for them makes it more fun and saves my voice at bedtime 😆

Absolutely love this book, bought recently for my Grandson, who is definitely showing an interest and he’s 20 monthsI originally bought the hardback version for my son 33 years ago. Would definitely recommend it

I remember having a letter land book myself many year ago !I bought for my son 4.5 years old to help with home schooling.It is really helpful he likes finding all the pictures and looking at the characters and I read him the story .A cheap price for something so useful

I had this book as a child and I adored it. I was so happy when I found it still existed so I could buy it for my son. We spend some time each week going through it together. The images are bright and full of words that begin with the letter, it's really good for making the phonetic sounds together by point out the different images. The stories aren't as good as I remember but my little one enjoys it.

Over the last 30+ years I’ve bought so many of these books for new and expectant mothers for their babies. It’s a wonderful book. It’s a shame that many of the other products in the series are no longer available - I used to buy some of those as well as recommending them.

My children had this book when they were learning their letters and it was a firm favourite. Bought it again recently for a friend whose daughter was struggling to learn letters, this makes it so easy and so much more fun. It's also important that letters are taught as sounds not as ABC, which make no sense when you come to read.UPDATE: bought yet again for our granddaughter who is not quite ready, but her mum remembered having this book and wanted it for her own daughter. Same bright, colourful pictures although some of the characters have been updated.

I remember this from when I was at school 30 years ago and it’s just as I remember. It’s a great learning aide and I’d highly recommend.

Letterland phonics uses many different characters to introduce phonetic sounds to young children. I think it's one of the best material for teaching toddlers as it has a lot of pictures and stories. Also their sound track of each phonetic sound is so easy to get into kids head and make them remember the sound easily.

My first grader loves this book. Had been struggling with some of the different letter sounds and this is so helpful and fun which makes it easier to remember. Great book, recommend for any first grade/kindergarten age trying to grasp phonics

My kid loves all the letterlanders’ stories and icons. Stories are well-written with nice pictures. Papers of the books are thick and not easily broke.

A wonderful book with pictures. Very helpful to learn your kids English, as the interesting characters, pictures and stories make your child really interested to learn and read.
