Classic 34x22cm Roasting Pan

This is a really high quality roaster. Solid, heavy, completely non-stick and with a stainless steel solid base that is as happy on the hob as in the oven. Expensive yes, but you really do get what you pay for.

Most expensive roasting pan i have ever purchased . I am normally more the £5 one in the local Asda which gets thrown and replaced as needed . How best to describe this one - well engineered. solid , robust . Excellent temp holding and cleaning .Is it different to a cheap version : yesDoes that difference justify the cost : on basis that I believe it will last years , appears pretty much bullet proof , silly easy to clean and makes really excellent roast potatoes :Yes .

Expensive, but far, far, better than any teflon non-stick pan I've ever had. It stays non-stick too, and after several months use, it still sheds baked on residue with just a wipe. Can't recommend to highly. Odd really, 'cos Scanpan's knives are no good at all ...

Fits and Aga - After 1 week it is very non-stick. I think it will prove better than the small aga roasting tin in that it has a stiff bottom, which will be better for making gravy. TomR

Bought on the recommendation of some Danish friends. Worth every penny - never had a better roasting pan. Now ogling the rest of the range.

This is a very useful roasting pan. It is not cheap but worth very penny. It is very easy to clean and will hold a chicken with enough roast vegetables for three people.

Scan pans are great quality. I have a frying pan and use it everyday

The best roasting pan on the planet

I bought my first 3.25 qt Scanpan roasting pan on Oct 29, 2015 and have been using it at least weekly since then. After several years (3 to 4?) the nonstick finish developed a small blister which grew in size. More blisters began to pop up and break open (see photos). I decided to replace the pan because it looked like the base metal (aluminum) was reacting with the braising liquid. I looked at many stainless steel roasters seeking a more durable finish. They were either too large or got too many negative reviews. I finally decided that the 3.25 qt Scanpan roaster would just have to be replaced by another. I was not happy to see the failure of the first one, but I know nothing can last forever. After reading a few reviews I concluded that a warranty claim would probably not be worth my time and effort. Scanpan has been criticized for being non-responsive to warranty claims. In spite of the blistering problem, the pan is great in every other way: no warping, no sticking, no scratches, very even heating on medium gas burner, and easy cleanup. I bought the new one on May 21, 2020. It looks like the non-stick finish may be improved compared to the first one (see side-by-side photo).

Certes, son prix est non négligeable. Mais il est fabriqué au Danemark, pays où les coûts de production et les standards de qualité ne sont pas bradés. Attention toutefois, car Scanpan propose une deuxième gamme de produits, légèrement moins chère, mais fabriquée en Chine.Ceci étant dit, permet de rôtir de bien meilleure manière que mon précédent plat en aluminium ultraléger. Je recommande pour tous les amateurs de viande rôtie.

Los productos de Scanpan son muy buenos, pero la superficie antiadherente no dura para siempre. Este es nuestro tercera en 20 años.

Prodotto di ottima qualità, ma nella descrizione le dimensioni esposte ingannano infatti cm. 34 x 22 pensavo fossero riferite all'interno invece sono riferite all'esterno inclusi i manici, così ho dovuto renderla e sostituirla con la dimensione successivacm. 39 x 27Suggerisco, nella descrizione, di indicare con chiarezza a cosa sono riferite le dimensioni.Saluti

J'avoue que je ne connaissais pas la marque Scanpan.Je suis bluffée par la qualité du produit que j'ai testé.Un ustensile assez lourd, d'une contenance de plus de 3 litres, fabriqué à partir de blocs d'aluminium. Et revêtu d'une couche antiadhésive.Et de plus fabriqué en Europe, au Danemark pour être précis.Le descriptif publié sur Amazon contient une légère erreur. Ce plat est livré sans poignets.Après lecture de la page 15 du mode d'emploi (une seule page écrite en petits caractères, mais la seule en français, et qui en plus se rapporte à plusieurs modèles dont ceux avec couverscle , grille et poignets)), on a fait cuire des frites sans graisses au four à moins de 260°. Sorti à l'aide de deux gants de cuisine de protection. Toutes les frites sorties sans aucun problème. Absolument rien attaché sur le fond du plat qui était en état impeccable.le mini mode d'emploi ne recommande pas le lavage au lave vaisselles. On l'a quand même fait. Nettoyage absolument parfait. Sur le long terme, on verra.Le prix n'est pas bon marché. Mais il faut tenir compte de la solidité visible du plat, fabriqué en Europe où tout le monde sait que les coûts sont plus élevés que dans 'l'usine du Monde".Mais comme pour des sets de couverts anglais en métal que nous avons achetés sur Amazon, à la longue on s'y retrouve.Très bien en volume pour faire cuire des plats pour 6 à 8 personnes. On va l'utiliser plusieurs fois dans la période actuelle des fêtes.Je recommande l'achat de ce plat pour les amateurs de produits de qualité.
