I did not believe this item could do what it claimed it could do, but I ordered it anyway just to see. Oh My Gosh ... to my disbelief, it worked on my new rug SO WELL that I was astonished!! I had just purchased a new rug b/c my two dogs shed so much. Thus, the rug was fresh, with only 2 days of dog hair on it. I used the item, and on the first pull, I pulled up so much hair, I was stunned. It literally lifted all of the dog hair off of my rug so easily. Then I preceded to vacuum. My rug is now the cleanest rug I have ever had due to this device! I would highly recommend it to folks who have shedding dogs and want to keep their rugs super clean! It really does WORK!

WHAT AN AMAZING TOOL!!!! I have had this type of tool before, but NOTHING as amazing as this bad-boy. I used it before I vacuumed, and it picked up a lot of dog hair. I thought, "Ok, then vacuuming won't be as bad..." Man-O-man was I wrong. Not only did my vacuum pick up more dog hair, but this rake loosened up the carpet, and more dog hair was picked up. I will not lie; I was exhausted after raking my living room carpet (approximately 200 sf.). I also thought my robot vacuum and upright were doing the job...again...I was wrong. This tool is the best purchase I have made regarding carpet care.

Not sure how it will hold up but it did GREAT bringing up the dog hair on our living room rug. Two huskies so pretty darn good.

Have pets? You NEED this. As grossed out as I am by it, the proof is in the proverbial pudding. Just look at these pictures from a duplex I rented. Yuck! Mind you, this is AFTER I had vacuumed both the rug and the stairs. Enough said. The one thing I will say is that in my experience it is far more effective on rugs that are smooth/velvety in texture than it is on carpet. It is a thousand times over worth the investment.

This thing really works. I had previously purchased a different type of tool for removing pet hair from rugs (with soft silicone bristles), and it was difficult to use and didn't get the kind or results I was hoping for. This tool was a revelation. I got a pile of hair out of my living room that was probably from the last 20 years of vacuums not getting the job done. My rug looks brand new. And it was easy to use. The fact that it has two different sizes for different types of pile/upholstery is great design. I'm very pleased with this tool, and I feel stupid for not buying it sooner.

Holy fluffing stuffing! This thing WORKS! I had a tiny hand held version and it worked, but it was tiny, and I blew out my shoulders and neck doing my entire room floor. I used this thing and in 30 minutes, I had the hair picked up. I use this thing to rake the hair in a line, then used a little vacuum I have to suck up the lime of hair. We'll see tomorrow if I'm sore. So far, 10/10, love it.

I just received it today and was excited to try it. I put it together (didn't think of the fact that I could just try the head of it without assembling it) and tried it. Meh- didn't really bring up as much as I thought it would and what other videos/pics show. I disassembled it and decided I will probably return it. I then thought of all the good reviews and tried it two more times (the same day) with just the head; it does seem to bring up some hair (we have a dog and a cat). We also have a Shark vacuum, which is a good brand. I am still debating on rather or not to keep this Uproot tool, as our vacuum is now old - although, it is a Shark brand and I am not certain if it is due to the vacuum being old that it is not picking up hair like it used to. The other solution is just to buy a new vacuum. This tool also snags my carpet (which I don't like at all). I would say if you don't have a solid brand vacuum, this will probably work for you.

This thing is legit. I was absolutely blown away with how much hair it pulled out of my carpet with minimal effort. We have a golden retriever and the dude sheds, like a lot. The only thing I regret is not buying this thing sooner, it’s worth every penny. My floors actually look clean now and the time I spend vacuuming has gone down drastically!
