I am very impressed with this ballet barre! It looks great, it’s very sturdy, and it feels like it’s a solid piece of equipment that will last forever. I love it! Once assembled, it is very easy to adjust the height and even fold it up and roll it away. Although it’s not meant to be sat on, the first thing my 190 pound son did was sit on it. It held him up with no problem. Which gives me even more confidence that it will remain rock-solid while I’m using it! The weight racks are a nice bonus and just add to the overall usefulness. The only “complaint” I have is that there were no pre-drilled holes to secure the wooden bar to the base. But I was able to use an impact driver to secure the screws with no problem. I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend it!

Assemble it using a drill and wrench to ensure stability. The instructions are clear and the bolts are very tight. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this barre. It is REALLY sturdy and i'm a barre aficionado. the way the legs are works well for a variety of exercises - doesn't get in your way. I'm quite happy with this product and absolutely recommend it. take the time to assemble it with a drill, really securely, and i think you'll be happy. the barre itself (the wood) is so nice too!

They included the incorrect hex nut which was locking, and therefore I had to buy new ones at the hardware store to secure it properly. Once I did that it appears to be sturdy. Also, had an issue screwing in the barre but it appears to be holding.

As a nearly 70-year-old, I needed to increase my flexibility. This very sturdy barre is perfect. Now I can safely do balance exercises and deep knee bends.I needed help putting it together but that only took about 15 minutes. The entire unit takes up little room and is easy to move.

Shame on me for not considering how I'd use this, but I liked the design of this barre, and it is indeed very sturdy. It'd be great for a small child or someone doing barre method, but for my 5'8" self doing ballet, this didn't work great.The two parallel bracing legs that are on the floor are too close together, so my foot hits them in tendu - I have to keep moving from one end to the other to have enough space. The horizontal bar in the front means I hit it when raising my leg. It's not-quite-tall enough for my hands even on the tallest setting (adequate, but I'd take another 6" in height).Assembling wasn't terrible, the part numbers were switched around, but it's easy to figure out if you look at the parts before assembling. As others have mentioned, there does need to be an extra hole drilled if you want to make the wooden barre stationary.

The whole thing would be 5 stars if the wheels were swivel. Having the wheels fixed as they are limit how it can be stored...can't be slid in between areas which is a real inconvenience.

Finally got put together and am using regularly for exercise. A friend helped me with assembly. It does take two pairs of hands. She liked it so much she ordered one for herself today!
