Awesome!
I have been dabbling in Indian cuisine. Recently, I found a YouTube creator who uses this type of chili powder in her recipes. After getting this and using it in recipes like chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken, I have fallen in love with it!It not only delivers a lot of heat to the recipe, but it adds so much more flavor! I really appreciate that because food that ONLY has heat tastes flat....you need that extra complex blend of flavors that make the dish so much more authentic.I highly ee this Kashmiri chili powder if you enjoy Indian cooking. It will bring your dishes to the ultimate next level of flavor.

Nice "hot" peppers
The peppers are great. Just add warm water to softened it up. Depending on how hot you want your dishes to be...,for me and my husband 4 peppers are more than spicy for us. I do not consider this peppers to be mild, maybe for others who can tolerate really spicy food, this is mild for them, but the 4 pieces I put in my curry is very spicy for us. I can feel the heat at the back of my mouth. It is "spicy"Maybe part of it also is that I used curry meat powder . Next time...I will only use 3. We are not really into sooo spicy curry. Anyway, These peppers are really good...the color it gives to the dish is more intense than any other peppers I use. As for the taste...well, dried peppers do not give the same flavor as the fresh ones. All I can say is it's hot! Goodluck you guys! Happy cooking and gooood eating.

excellent flavor at the hot end of mild.
Sadly, this is too hot for me. It's close to a jalapeno in heat. For real hot pepper fans, it's definitely mild. But I've become a bit averse to capsaicin in my old age. OTOH It really does have excellent flavor and is brilliant red in color.

Bit of spice without the burn.
Nicely spicy but nothing to fear. Made my own spice pickle mix combining it with chaat masala and adding to hot oil and vegetables (also garlic and fresh ginger). Very, very good. Will try in other dishes.

I can finally make butter paneer!
I recently moved to my small hometown of around 20,000 people from a large city, and I was desperate for some curry. I was spoiled to live near an incredible Indian restaurant that I ordered from often. As a vegetarian, there generally aren't many foods for me at restaurants that aren't back-of-the-freezer from-the-forgotten-times black bean patties (guaranteed to make me ill), or some weird 'health' food with too many kinds of veggies all cooked together (I'm looking at you, overcooked and fleshy mushrooms).ANYWAY! I finally got the courage to try a real recipe because the jarred stuff just cannot compare. I initially used the amount recommended by the recipe, and it was spicy enough to make me sweat a bit, so I've since learned that my weak, acid-reflux-having palate needed just a bit less (around half the recommended amount) to still get the flavor without the bodily stress.Highly recommend!

My favourite chili powder
It’s hilarious that they say “low heat,” because, honey, not, it ain’t. Low heat for Indian folks, maybe, but I find it quite hot.Still, I looooove this stuff. It’s fruity but spicy. It’s not like the smoky heat from Mexican chili powders, so you can add this to a lot of recipes.I use it in everything from my Berber eggs (like shakshuka but Moroccan spices) to my Israeli beef to my refried pinto beans and more. I will often use it in addition to my varied Mexican chili’s because it’s got a great flavour profile.I used an 85gr jar of it but I’ve lately begun using it so much more that I picked up the 400gr bag.Highly recommend. But brace yourself and add it delicately until you know how much you like. Great quality, so fresh, I won’t hesitate to buy more Rani products.(I also use their turmeric and amchoor and love their quality.)
