Epson A4 Matte Heavyweight Inkjet Paper (50 Sheets), White

it was white, it felt like paper, looked like paper and wow it was paper the works well on out Epson printer and holds the colours well. Good paper weight, and good looking photographs printed.

Bit the bullet and ordered this paper for a calendar I wanted to make as a xmas gift. Had bought other photo paper but my epson sx405 was having none of that, a quick read up on the webbernet showed that they are pretty sly when it comes to other paper (especially thicker), so after swearing into thin air and calling epson all sorts of names, hit the order button. Turned up quickly and actually ended up quite pleased that I 'had' to order epson paper, as the results were far better than the previous year's calendar. Took a couple of goes, as I made sure the printer settings were correct (makes a world of difference selecting 'photos' and 'matte finish'), but was extremely pleased with how they come out - no 'bleed', very crisp, and without the shine/glare that would have occurred were it gloss paper (fine for some stuff, for calendars I prefer to look at a matte finish though). Nice feel and texture to it, what with it being fairly heavyweight paper - I never did say sorry to epson for my cursing, but then I'm an a***hole like that - however, this is definitely worth it to see better results than normal :-)

Slightly cheaper than some. Thinner than expected but if I looked for the gsm beforehand I would have known. Ticked all the boxes. Will order again. Great value for money and the colour quality is amazing unless you accidentally use it backwards lol

Why oh why didn't they mark the back of the paper making it easily distinguishable from the front..! I can't see a visible colour difference as the pack suggests, and there is hardly any difference in the touch of the paper... if you get the right side then the print quality is far superior to the wrong side... obviously if it doesn't matter printing on both sides - the apart from wasting ink it doesn't matter... but if you're framing pictures as gifts you can hardly give them a print with something on the back. So great paper, but really bad that it's so tricky to tell which side to use!

This is my favourite matte paint for painting photographs and drawings on any Epson photo printer. It’s also great for things like certificates because it’s surface is survival coated making images very crisp. Lovely for monochrome pictures.

I was really pleased with this paper - at 170 gsm it went through my old Epson RX500 printer with no problems at all . I could perhaps wish that the paper was a bit whiter, but on the whole I have no complaints at all. I used it to make calendars for family members, using photos taken during the year and the quality of the prints is really very good. For the previous year's calendars I had used double sided matt paper from Rymans which was 220 gsm and printed successfully on both sides. However, for some reason it now seems too thick to go through my printer and I wasted quite a lot whilst trying! I shall get some more Epson paper for next year as it is reasonably priced and does what I want it to.

This is great Matte A4 paper, although you have to be careful to make sure you are printing on the right side to get the right colour profile, and that isn't always easy in artificial light conditions. When you get it right, the colours are excellent. The first box I ordered arrived promptly from Amazon in the normal way and in an outer Amazon box. However, this order arrived, very unusually, as just the Epson cardboard package with no outer Amazon box. It said 'posted through the letterbox' but it was actually left on the step in drizzle. Fortunately I grabbed it from the step before it got too wet. However, when I opened it, one corner was very slightly bent on the pages, most of the way through. Clearly this was due to the complete absence of protective packaging. I couldn't return it as I only noticed when I had already printed a page, and the slight bend wasn't too awful. Amazon has no way to communicate this without forcing a return, so I left this review in the hope that someone at Epson or Amazon will take note that paper stock is fragile and needs better packaging than none whatsoever.

I have an Epson SX400 printer. I normally print off my large photos on Glossy paper and print charts or calendars on matt paper. I thought that I would give this paper a try to see how well the results looks. The results so far seem to support the fact that this paper is worth it. The shadows are a lot more vivid and dark and some prints look much nicer. The only negative thing I would comment on at the moment is that the paper is quite damp when it leaves the printer. The ink doesn't smudge like I have seen on many HP printers when it is still damp and the paper returned to it's normal shape afterwards. Do remember to select the correct printer properties when using this paper, as you should with any of the specialist papers in the Epson printers. This helps you to make the most of which ever paper you are using and helps to produce something which you will treasure and perhaps frame.

The quality of this brand's products is undeniably excellent. However, the cross-border shipping caused damage to the packaging and resulted in creases on the items inside. As a result, I have decided to return it.

Ich, Illustrator, hatte mich für Drucke von digitalen Arbeiten nach Papier umgesehen, welches nicht so hochglänzend ist, wie viele Fotopapiere. Dieses Papier hatte ich einfach mal als Test bestellt und zwar eine Oberfläche in Richtung 'seidenmatt' erwartet, aber war dann sehr positiv von der Qualität überrascht. Auch wenn das Papier wie normales Drucker/Kopierpapier anmutet (mit 167g/m² natürlich fester), sind die Drucke so kontrast- und farbreich wie auf 'normalem' Fotopapier. Den Vergleich zwischen herkömmlichen und diesem Papier sieht man sehr gut, wenn man das erste Blatt falsch einlegt und den ersten Druk auf der falschen Seite tätigt. Denn leider sind die beiden Seiten schwer - besonders bei Lampenlicht - zu unterscheiden. Das ist aber auch das einzige Manko, welches mir bei Benutzung auffiel. Auch sind die Farben nach dem Druck sofort trocken und verwischen nicht. Langzeiterfahrung kann ich nun aber noch nicht geben. Ein sehr schönes Papier mit sehr schöner Farbbrillanz, ich würde es weiterempfehlen und habe auch sofort nochmal bestellt ;)

This would be a 5 Star rating if it wasn't for the following. This great A4 Epson Paper was delivery swiftly from the UK to Canada but I was disappointed to find that Rarewaves-CA had packed the paper in a bubblewrap envelope that arrived damaged with about half the paper inside bent in one of the corners :0/ This was my second order and I plan to order again so I hope the company will use a more durable oversized cardboard envelope next (like those used by Amazon).
