This bag is perfect for preschool! Our kids go to mother's day out a couple days a week, and these bags have really been a hit with our family. The quality is superb, and the design is adorable. We've used ours for half the year, and they are not showing wear. The size is perfect for my toddler and preschooler to wear on their backs for short periods of time, and they hold exactly what we need without requiring extra bulk. I put their lunch in the outer, insulated pocket (perfect size for a wee one's lunch), their insulated drink cup in the side cup pouch, and a change of clothes and anything else that needs to go for the day in the main bag portion--and we still have some room to spare for art and notes that the teacher sends home. I had them embroidered. Too cute!Update: The outside pocket dimensions are 8"x8"x2". It's enough for us to hold a 2-compartment rectangle container and a water bottle. My kids are 1 and 4, and it's perfect for the lunches they take to mother's day out. (I usually just send what will fit in the lunch container with maybe an applesauce pouch or yogurt pouch.)Another update (4/28/2015): These bags are still going strong, a year and a half after purchase. I'll give one piece of advice, though: If possible, order your bag in a dark color. We have a light blue bag and a dark blue bag, and every time juice spills on the light blue bag, it shows. The dark blue bag takes an extra day of abuse each week and still looks new, and, while it washes fine, the light one likely won't last as long.

Super cute pattern. We got the space theme and it’s just like the picture. Not very sturdy and I don’t think it will last very long. Material is not rigid, feels like nylon. Not worth the price. May return.

My son is 3 and is tall for his age, at 43 inches and 36 pounds, this is perfect on his little back with the straps tightened all of the way. I love how it looks and he is so proud of it and loves bringing it to his MOPS, Sunday school and Awanas classes. I also like that it isn't like every other lame 'character' bag. It's unique and my son loves the outer space theme. It is very sturdy and is large enough to hold a regular sized folder in height. The front spot, supposing to be like a lunch bag is fine, clearly not for a long time, but good enough to put a lunchable in for a couple of hours and it not go bad. The straps are wide, which makes it easy for him to put on all by himself and not cumbersome like some thinner straps. He is now in preschool and the bag has and is holding up well even with my 4 year old boy putting it to the test. It holds his homework folder fine. I'll actually be sad next year for kindergarten when I get him a new one.

I love this backpack, I bought it for my 2 year old to go to daycare and it holds everything so well. It’s roomy but not huge which I love. Cause usually backpacks are huge if you want a lot of room. But this one is the perfect size for my little one. The colors on it are vibrant; I’ve washed it a few times because it tends to get thrown around quite a lot and it hasn’t tore or lost it’s color. It’s really good quality. I would highly recommend.

Perfect size for a preschooler. Fits my 4 yr old well. Has a water bottle pouch on the side and a smaller zipped pouch on the front where we store snacks. The main compartment has a spot to write the child’s name. I can’t vouch for its durability since it’s brand new, but so far we’ve had no issues.

As a mom I’ve learned to be very practical. My son is into the solar system and wanted a book bag that had planets and spaceships. I was looking for a bag comparable to the skip hop. The skip hop has been one of my favorite bags because of its size, the plastic lining inside for leak proof and easy to clean. The dimensions were very similar and the front pocket was bigger and that sold me. The design was is very cute but the only thing it didn’t have a plastic lining inside in case of spills.But other than that it is a beautiful bag and very practical for a child and a mom. I just wish the inside lining was sturdier and spill proof.

Esta bonita, el material también esta bien. Me gusto, el costo va bien con el producto. esta practica, lo recomiendo a mamis con pequeños que les gusta ir a todos lados con sus juguetes (que no sean muy grandes) o para el Snack diario.

Beautiful bag, excellent quality but zip was broken, maybe due to packaging. A lot smaller than expected but still good size I can fit two pairs of children size 12 shoes plus tracksuit and football gloves and shin pads. Also edge is reflective so great for walking from school at night.

I love this. I changed from using my big twin twice as nice baby bag. I love the insulated little front pocket for snacks and there is enough room for a changing mat, wipes, nappies, toys and drinking cups for my twins!
