Excellent Book on NLP
NLP at Work (4th Edition) by Sue Knight is one of the most straightforward books on the subject, as compared to other NLP books available in the market. The book has been very smartly divided into three sections viz elements, modelling and practice. Every section is further divided into well thought out chapters to take the reader through the field of NLP. The format of the chapter includes clear description of the topic and sub-topics, along with stories and short case studies, which makes the book very interesting to read, especially for the novices. Followed by revision, practice checklist, exercises, summary and references in every chapter. A very comprehensively written book, which can help the reader to explore and experience new ways of working while getting connected with self and people around us.The integrated approach of author comes out very clearly in the book, while she covers principles and practices of NLP. For the simplest reason, she has been teaching NLP for over 30 years and she lives it. Thank you so much for the book, Sue..!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼Best regards 💐💐💐

Experiencing NLP at Work in my Life..
The Book "NLP at Work" is a trigger of what I am today. I love the structure and thought provokers in each chapter. The question , "What is important to you about what you do and what values do you communicate to others by doing what you do?"... helped me reflect deeply to open my thoughts and now clear about my values towards life.I am blessed to read, live and experience NLP.Sue Knight's personal experiences and examples are interesting and mind-blogging for me in a way to connect the concepts at various level. References in each chapter gave me an opportunity to explore more on the subject."NLP at Work" is an evidence of Sensory Rich Language and a treasure for my life.Having read NLP at work and attended Sue Knights's training , I find Sue Knight as a wonderful person who lives and celebrate excellence all the time.

Received used book with scribbles and underlines
I paid Rs.2700 for a new book and I received a used and old book with scribbles and notes on it and underlined paragraphs . This is unacceptable for such an expensive book

Very old fan
So when I was in highschool I got interested in NLP because I saw Derren Brown do some mental magic stuff on YouTube and I was instantly hooked. I picked up this book, probably from a Barns and Noble and read the whole thing very quickly. Now this was at least 11 years ago. I ended up letting a friend borrow it and haven't seen ever since then. But there are a few concepts I learned in this book that served me well which stuck all this time. Presupposition, Focusing on what you want (Look up, vs don't look down), and stories. Now that I'm in sales I decided to look for this book and get a fresh look at what Sue taught since the previous book. I'm specifically interested in seeing how I can control the context within which someone views the services I'm selling and I'm sure I'll get some solid ideas here. The biggest realization I had when I read this for the first time was that NLP is a study of how to communicate more effectively with people by understand how the mind processes what is said and how it is said.

This is an excellent book and the best work-related book on the subject.
Becoming the best version of yourself. ‘NLP at Work’ by Sue Knight (pub. 2009. 3rd Edn.) Cheryl and I came across Sue Knight over 10 years ago. She graciously enabled us to become participants on a coaching course she was leading on communication, which focused on how you think, talk and the strategies you employ for living. Most of us are virtually ignorant of the way our brains work, the impact our communication has upon others and the ways we seek to make our life work. Sue, over a matter of days could help us understand ourselves better and supported us to make positive changes in the process. Cheryl and I were the only couple on the course and we benefited both individually and as a couple. I began to see how we both had made our own maps of the world and one was no better than the other; they were simply different. The initially frustrating thing about the course was that Sue did not teach the different chapters in the book in a classroom style. She taught ‘in the moment’ as things emerged, focusing more upon transformation than mere information. I say initially frustrating because after a while the lights were turned on and I and the others began to appreciate how brilliantly effective she is as a coach and trainer. This is an excellent book and the best work-related book on the subject. Through it you will learn, for example, how you filter things in your thinking; use metaphors to make sense of your experience; your beliefs and values, manage time; establish rapport with others, achieve goals as well as see life from different perspectives to your own, receive criticism and manage your emotional state. Having said that, I think the best way you can experience Sue’s excellence as a coach and trainer is by going on one of her courses yourself. Super!
