We live in a high rise - top floor-where taking our two Parti Yorkie’s down 13 floors every time the need to go potty would not be fun or practical. We trained our dogs to use the tray and artificial grass and it works exceptionally well. The dogs are 7 1/2 and 15 lbs and have learned to simultaneously potty on the grass/tray without spillage. Easy to clean the grass / tray by pouring a mixture of bleach & hot water which drains into tray and we then we put into a rectangle “pail” and then flush down toilet - the poop is small and we pick it up with toilet paper flush. Very simple. This high quality product using the largest grass and tray makes high rise pet ownership extremely accommodating

I’ve waited a bit to give a review on these grass pads so I could provide an opinion based on months of use. This was the perfect solution for training our pug puppy. She came to us with grass pad training so this was the easiest transition you could ask for. We use puppy pads under the grass on the tray as a preference. The tray does have space for the urine to collect, but we felt like it wasn’t as easy to clean that way. The grass itself is made of durable plastic and lasts about a month before needing to be replaced. There is very little smell, and absolutely no mess. All in all this is a great option for apartment dwellers, potty training, or bad weather. Well made and highly recommended.

Training a husky to potty on this pad was a little challenging at first but over time he LOVES using this It’s a great spot for him to potty when he can’t hold it until we go outside and prevents accidents elsewhere. When it comes to pooping, it works great if they’re healthy however, if they have diarrhea it’s a little challenging to clean (definitely worth having the back ups). I recommend using training pads underneath so it’s easier to clean the urine when it seeps through.

These are great but don't put in the wash machine it will start coming apart. Need to hand scrub

These work great when trying to get your puppies potty-trained. But they are hard to clean. You will never get the smell out completely. I used a urine cleaner, let it sit for an hour, and then spray them out outside with the water hose. I hang them on the rails of the front porch to let them dry. It’s also best put puppy pad underneath them on a black tray (like the ones in kennels). When the puppies get used to going on these pads, I move the pads closer to the door to get then used to going outside .

I have been quite disappointed with this grass mat. The edges frayed within just a few days and the black strings were separating, which caused the grass particles to come off in clumps.
