Very Comfortable and Brilliant for Sleeping Away From Home
We (Hubby and I) were not sure what size ready bed we would need for our toddler when we purchased this and so we also purchased a Disney Planes Junior Ready Bed, Multi-Color at the same time. Our toddler fits into the Thomas Ready Bed perfectly with still a little bit of growing room but we liked the Planes Ready Bed so much that we decided to keep that one too knowing that he would be able to use this for a longer time frame with it being longer. We have used both of the Ready Beds on two separate trips now and they are both brilliant and we can't recommend them enough. We took the two beds away in case our toddler had an accident and we couldn't use one of the beds for more than one night as we didn't have access to a washing machine whilst away and we were grateful that we had taken both of them as we did need to swap beds on the third night away. The Planes Ready Bed is longer than the Thomas My First Ready Bed but both are equally comfortable and our son slept soundly on both beds. Both beds have inbuilt pillows and bedding and both pack away to a very small inbuilt carry bag and so it was no hassle to take both beds away with us on both trips as they don't take up that much room. The beds come with their own pump and are very easy to inflate and deflate. We did need to give the beds another few pumps each night to get them back to their original inflation but we also had to do that with our own air bed and so I wouldn't say that it was a design flaw. The covers wash very easily and dry very quickly too. We did have to also use a separate sleeping bag on our second trip in addition to the inbuilt covers but that was because we were camping and the bed covers have only been designed for indoor use. On our first trip where we were staying in a hotel the inbuilt covers were more than sufficient on both beds.We are very pleased with both beds and as stated earlier our son slept soundly on both. He was super excited about sleeping in them on both occasions as up until this point he had slept in a cot bed with the sides still up and so it was his first experience of a big boys bed. Brilliant invention and they shall be going with him when he stays over at his Granddads in the future.

FANTASTIC little bed for a 2.5 year-old!
My Godson and his parents (my best friend and husband) came to stay for Christmas and I was at a bit of a loss as to where to put him to sleep. I bought this thinking it might be nice for him to have his own bed. Well... let me tell you, he absolutely loved it. In fact, all the way through dinner the little 2.5 year-old (who hates bedtime) was asking his Mum if he could go into his "Thomas Bed" please. My best friend (his Mum) was absolutely besotted with this bed. It blows up very easily and it has its own little blanket. It folds down into a bag very easily. Previously, my Godson had a complicated travel cot that took up half their boot and creaked so much that my Godson woke up every few hours. This little blow-up bed solves that. It's actually really quite solid, which I'm surprised about as it's a blow-up bed. In fact, it's so solid that no one in the household realised it was a blow-up bed until I deflated it on Boxing Day and presented it to my best friend in the little bag. The idea was for me to keep it here for when he comes to visit but they begged me to take it with them, and I was obviously happy to oblige. I feel so chuffed to have chosen something my Godson loves as it can be so difficult to choose gifts for kids.

Great Product..... but faulty Zip
Product arrived quickly. Good as needed for a sleepover. Looks great and worked really well for the 3 year old who slept in it. He really likes, the little pocket was a nice detail. Was very disappointed that the zip to take cover off is broken. Simply will not undo. Had to use when unboxed as no other sleeping alternatives, shame as no time to return for a perfect one. Also you do still an extra cover in winter as the top layer is thin.

Great little bed!
We bought this bed when my son was 2 and he loves it! He gets very excited when we are going to his grandparents house as he knows he will get to sleep in Thomas bed!The pump is basic and takes a while to inflate, but is fine once up and has lasted well for us for a few nights with daytime naps in a row.The attached cover is quite thin and flimsy so we use extra blankets but don't find that much of a problem! It folds up into itself into a neat little bundle which is great for travelling!

My 3-year-old loves it and now doesn't want to sleep in his cot!
My toddler son loves it to pieces and refuses to sleep in his cot since we bought Thomas ReadyBed. The bed is easy to fill and comes with a pump. It is important not to overfill it with air as it then becomes too hard. When it is under-filled it is softer but may at times make squeaky sounds when the child turns at night so you have to find a balance between those two. Once it is filled to appropriate level it is soft and quiet. The bed folds easily and fits inside the suitcase, it is light and is an excellent solution when you travel (much lighter and smaller than travel cot). The "duvet" is a bit too light for winter months but we just put additional blanket on top and our boy is snug like bug in a rug. He likes the pocket on the side and keeps his cup or various bits and bobs. We are very pleased with the purchase. It is excellent quality and a great idea. 5 stars!
