We bought this camera as we own a small apartment complex and don't have access to electricity. We mounted it near the parking lot where it gets lot of sun exposure to keep it on. We connected it to the wireless plan as well. We will be getting another soon as we love it so much! Sound quality isn't great, but we really don't need to listen to anything. We just love that we have an option to have a camera without asking a tenant to use his electricity! We have only had it a few weeks, but it has stayed fully charged with the solar since! The range of motion is good too. I can look at the parking lot or zoom it around to view the steps and building. It adjusts well. Setup was easy too and I think the video quality is good for what we need to see!

We bought this camera to keep an eye on the wildlife in our backyard! It works great and love the solar panel too so it stays charged all the time! It's very easy to set up! Video quality it's pretty good! I don't use notifications cause it goes off to much! Motion detection works great too! Didn't realize how much wildlife is in my backyard at night! We seen deer,bears,fox,coyotes, and cats! ! Had a little problem with it and contacted customer service and they check everything out and fixed what was wrong! Today I saw I had a message and was surprised to see that they where sending me a gift fur using there customer service! Mia offered me with a new 64 SS card or a year of I cloud! And 3 yr warranty which I wasn't expecting but definitely appreciate it! I choose the SD card! Thank you again Mia I totally appreciate it!

Not difficult to install. Video quality is much better than the bulb cameras I have. The only thing that I’ve found is that when the battery gets low it disconnects from my Wi-Fi. Took me a couple of times to figure that out. The solar panel isn’t the best thing because it doesn’t fully charge the batteries. That became annoying fast. To solve this issue I ran a USB-C cable to it from a wall wart and haven’t had any issues since. I bought a second one and I’ll find out how strong the Wi-Fi signal is with it because it will be placed in my backyard. Will update after I get that one running.13OCT23: update, I now have 2 of these cameras and when they are working they are great. They have a tendency to freeze frame about every 90 seconds or so. Then eventually my display will go black and it says to check network as if the internet has gone down. So I check my internet connection and it seems to be working fine. I know that my internet is questionable (Centurylink) so I’m not using the cloud storage. Instead I’m using a 64G SD card. I don’t have it scheduled to record events, because on my old bulb camera I had to delete things every other day so it would stay on. This is a temporary set because I’m renting now and don’t want to install my wired camera system. Also I don’t have Alexa so that might be the reason why I’m having these issues.The video quality is exceptional even the nighttime color is great, the IR night vision is so that I can recognize someone if need be. I don’t think that living in a mobile home would be an issue with the Wi-Fi @ 2.4 Ghz since it’s only 15’ away from the router and my other one is about 30’ from the extender. My cordless phone is 2.4Ghz no issues with it outside. Wish it was compatible with my 5G Wi-Fi that works much better than the 2.4Ghz.After using it and figuring out the issues I will have to give it 4-4.5 stars overall. I would recommend it for people who don’t live nor work in metal buildings or mobile homes.15OCT23-Update II: updating again, still having issues with the camera freezing up and getting a network error. I have 2 cameras and they take turns dropping out. This morning the camera I have on my front gate dropped out 6 times in less than an hour. As I said before maybe it’s the fact that I live in a mobile home and the metal is affecting it not sure. I don’t have any issues with my Wi-Fi because I can walk down the road and still have my Wi-Fi service a block away (approx. 100 yards away). Also my cordless phone (2.4Ghz) works fine for the same distance. Guess I’ll just go with the old fashioned way and use my wired cameras.Update #3: had the batteries charged up and plugged in the solar panel yesterday. Panel faces South and it had about 12 hours of sunlight. Sunset was about 1945 last night and sun rise was around 0655 this morning, so it was on battery power for about 11 hours. No video this morning (dead batteries). Plugged in to ac and waited a few minutes and it came back on. If and when I get my new cameras these are going back. Seems like Amazon has forgotten where I live, my first order of new cameras was sent back after it sat for a day or so about 60 miles down the road then they said it was undeliverable.

I bought this camera several months ago. Almost a year ago actually, to install at a currently vacant property that I own in another city. We’ve had a few incidents of vandalism and trespassing over the years, and I wanted something that would allow me to keep an eye on the property in between visits. This camera is fantastic! Set up was easy and the App is very user-friendly. Not only does it have great picture quality, especially for the price, but the speaker is very audible and very clear in case I need to verbally “remind” somebody that there are “no trespassing” signs posted.I wasn’t sure how to set up the data plan and wound up without service for serveral hours. The company actually reached out and Mia with customer service offered me a trial period that gives me time to get things going. The monthly subscription is reasonable. $19.95 a month and definitely worth the peace of mind I have now being able to keep an eye on things.

so far, I cannot say enough good things. I bought two. One of them we immediately paid for the service and storage. The other one we have not paid for yet because we don't know where we're putting it. we were on with customer service for 2 days in a row trying to figure out how to get it to work better in different location, etc. what we found was that the provider that they were using had bad reception in our area. after a while, customer service was able to change the carrier. not made all the difference. we now have full reception in our area. The quality is perfect. we love the fact that we can move the camera and zoom in and out. we are still trying to figure out the sensitivity area because it does alert us throughout the day when cars drive by. that said, we love this feature because it's so easy to click on a 10 or 20 second clip and see what's going on. just to give you an idea, we are located halfway across the US from where the camera is. everything in real time is fantastic. for the money, I give this more than five stars if I could. it's only been two weeks... so I may have to update this later. as of now though, definitely a must buy in my mind. customer service really went above and beyond with us because we were on with multiple people over multiple days. overall, this is extremely easy to set up and only took us a few minutes. every time we look the battery is fully charged so absolutely no issues in that arena.

I bought 2 of these;1 in Aug,2023, and another Feb.2024. I delayed in writing a review so that I could see how they preform, and it honestly slipped my mind till today when I came to order another one for a blind spot on my property. If I could give 1/2 stars, I would score a 4 1/2. I would knock off 1/2 a star for the sound quality, that's it!The first one is about 40feet from my router, the second is 62 ' from router, and connecting was quick and easy. These little cameras have been great! They are built very good The solar panel has kept them charged, even through 4' of snow, hurricane Helene, and big ice storm we have had since I bought them. As long as your internet stays up, you can always see. Notifications alert me of someone approaching the house, as well as the beautiful family of deer that come to visit. I recently moved one to watch the chickens we now have, which is why I need another lol.The sound is not very good when trying to talk, but the siren is loud when you have it activated, and will deter animals. You have te ability to view live, and rotate the camera up, down, and side to side making the field of view massive. Crystal clear color in daylight and black and white at night, and you can zoom in via the app too. The sd storage(not included with camera) makes sure events are backed up, then rewrites when card is full. You can also record to your phone ,tablet,or computer while viewing live, or download events.Since they have worked SO well for me, I would definitely recommend these to anyone on a budget looking for great security cameras that require no maintenance, no subscription. As someone mentioned, they are not Alexa friendly, but they truly are great cameras, and you can't beat the price!

Edit - The seller reached out to me and offered a full refund on this item since I wasn't completely happy with it. They made no request regarding the review and I feel all the comments are fair so I'm not changing the text, but I am increasing the star rating from 3 to 4 due to their great customer service and willingness to take care of their customer.As I said previously, this is really a nice camera, the only downside is the motion detection doesn't work well, at least for me. I've also figured out the issue with the motion controls is that after some period the app "logs out". When that happens the controls quit working and if you log into the app with your account credentials again the controls start working properly again.________________First of all, the camera works great, both day and night vision are sharp and detailed. The viewing distance at night is good with the built in IR floods, 50-75 feet or so. On a moonlit night I can see far off into the distance. I love being able to pan the camera around, I actually have it mounted on top of my van and I can look all around at night when I'm inside. I don't use the solar panel, I just put a strong magnet on the back of the mount and stick it to the van, but the camera runs a couple of weeks between charges.One small downside is the app sometimes has an issue where the remote movement control quits working, when you "push a button" on the screen to move the camera it just keeps moving all the way to the end stop. If you kill the app and reopen then it works fine.Now for the one BIG downside, and the reason for the 3 star rating. I wanted a security camera. I camp in very remote desert and mountain locations and I leave certain things outside overnight due to their bulk and time it would take to take them apart and put them away every day. This camera advertises motion detection and "people detection", but after extensive testing it simply fails. I have to be very close to the camera to get it to activate, as in 6' or so. On the other hand it turns out that moths are attracted even to infrared lights and they like to flutter in front of the camera, which sets of the motion detection. Between those two issues I've had to just leave the motion detection off and use a different type of alarm for that purpose.Great camera, the app is a little glitchy and if you don't need the motion detection it would be a 5 star rating.

These cameras are on different parts of my large property, mostly to monitor wildlife activities but also for potential security. They stay charged off of the solar panel and move remotely to see more than just a fixed area. In the 2 years since purchasing my first one I have lost signal very rarely. I have had nonissues with the app either. No reliance on wifi or power hookup. Clear images day or night. Customer service is excellent and eager to help with any problem. I also love that they aren't connected to the Ring network or have any ties to the surveillance state (that I can find).

Llevo casi dos meses usándola y hasta hoy todo bien, puntos a resaltar la alerta de movimiento funciona bien aunque en algunos casos los clips de grabación no tuvieron una continuidad y los segundos que graban se me hacen pocos, debería tener la opción de grabar más tiempo, la calidad de la imagen es de lo mejor si tienes una buena señal de internet, el altavoz a través de la cámara me sorprendió se escucha fuerte y claro, capte una hermosa luna llena en el modo nocturno.

Buen día mi cámara no se conecta, ni dice “La cámara está lista para conectar” alguien sabe porque solo se queda parpadeando el led y al momento de querer conectarla no se puede.
