These are probably the best charcoal pencils available for very reasonable price. Can't see anybody can bit this value for money

Now my favourite charcoal.
I love these and don't think I'll return to my old charcoal. They are less brittle and withstand some pressure, if they do snap the pieces that break off aren't tiny and still usable. I found them less messy with less dust produced than willow sticks. I've only done one drawing so far but I can see I'll achieve good things with these.

Its well known that the art world went into a tailspin when it looked like Nitram was no longer to be available. Well, the new canadian willow charcoal is as crisp as ever - Nitram is still the best by far in my opinion.
