GEARGO RV Surge Protectors 30 Amp RV Circuit Analyzer,[2025 New Upgraded & Gen2], Full Protection, RV Adapter Plug for Camper (Green)

Bought this before a trip where I would need to step down from 50amp service to 30amp service. I wanted to make sure #1 that the wiring was correct and #2 that I had some level of surge suppression. #1 was accomplished perfectly. Hopefully I never need to find out about #2 but it will go on every hookup I do from now until I find out.

This surge protector plug I received matches the description on Amazon exactly. It came quickly. Packaging was good. The plug has different color options so it's appearance is nice. Short instructions in the box with the plug are easy to understand. I have not used it yet (so my review can change). A nice thing/option is registering the plug with the manufacturer gives you an extra 2 year warranty and a surprise they say. I think the surprise is $5 back on the purchase.

Easy to use. The led lights clearly let you know when it is safe to plug in.I live in a rainy climate so I wish the clear plastic cover had a gasket seal on it to keep water away from outlet on the protector. But it hasn’t been a problem. Just a slight worry. Honestly for the price this is an awesome deal and the protection it will provide to your RV makes it worth purchasing.

Excellent quality for the cost. Never thought a surge would hit our campsite like you see on social media, then when we were away for the day it absolutely happened at a Oregon state park. Our neighbors had to leave because their fridge fried in their $100k 5th wheel. Our fridge was fine in our crappy 20 foot travel trailer. Saved the day. Get it, you won’t be disappointed.

We purchased a travel trailer and needed a surge protector. It is easy to use and easy to see. I don't like to buy the bottom of the pack when it comes to electricity. I feel this was a fair/good price and a good product. I picked it out based on reviews and although we have only used it once it worked great. It appears water proof but that hasn't been challenged yet.

The lights make it easy to check the connection before you plug in your RV.

I was happy to recieve the item on time. It was bigger and better than I was expecting.. Haven't had a lot of time to base an opinion on how well it works, but when I plugged it in everything seems to be as it should.

I've always been a bit hesitant plugging my RV into a 30 amp power outlet that has burn marks on it. It could end up being a costly decision. With the GearGo RV Surge Protector to check and protect I'll have peace of mind and sleep better. It's our first time out since I bought it. I was excited to give it a try. It worked as expected. And yes, I slept better knowing there would be no issue as we planned on using our electrical heater instead of the furnace.

We're using it to protect the electric panel of our park model cottage. So far no issues. Unit gave an all clear to the power post and was relatively easy to install. Had some difficulty fitting the plug to the box due to the post box design. After that easy to install and protected from the elements.
