These lights are brilliant I have them throughout my home in case of power cuts and if I have to get up in the night it saves me looking for light switches

We really struggled to find an affordable light that didn't have too big of a sensor radius as otherwise it would turn on every time someone walked past our home. This is very bright, easy to install and the sensor only detects movement if someone actually comes up our path.

Easy to instal and very sensitive of movement

This product is identical to a Prime item costing £10 more. So if you can wait 20 days for free delivery from China then buy this one. I have both and they are 100% identical.The LEDs are bright and the light spreads wide and easily covers a doorway/entrance-way. It is not intended to light large areas like a garden, but will light a section to access a shed/bins etc.The PIR is sensitive and picks up movement well. As with all PIRs it works best when not directly pointed toward the area of movement, so best to have it pointing toward what you want illuminated while ensuring that it can still 'see' at an angle for movement. The LEDs only light when lighting level is dark/low so will not light in daylight or when there is another light source. The light will stay on for 25-30 seconds after last motion is detected, so it will stay on so long as there is some movement. With low energy LEDs and the 3 x AAA batteries should (hopefully) last several months, but this will obviously depend on number and lengths of activation and the battery type used.The unit has a base which is in 2 parts and back-plate can be either screwed or fixed with double sticky backed pad(s) as appropriate to surface type and desire. Screws and wall-plugs are provided and the lamp holder part of the base rotates securely onto the back-plate hiding the fixings. The light itself snaps into the holder and held sufficiently tight to allow it to be rotated to suit and it remains in the position. The light can easily be removed and used as a hand light if desired, however in some situations you may want to place it high up to avoid it being taken.I have read reports that it is not water-proof and I am confident that it will withstand all but very extreme wetting. I suspect that the weak point here is the switch which I have placed at (rotated to) the bottom rather on top. I have also smeared some silicone grease around the internal edges of the joint on the lamp (where it open for for batteries). If I remember I will update this review in a few months.Well happy with this purchase and price and have just ordered 3 x more.

Would not buy this model again, as eats batteries. Dull light in just a week.

Sadly this has become stuck so the batteries cannot be changed. It provides a bright light when working. However batteries run out fairly quickly. Wouldn't buy this again. As it became stuck after 30 days I can't get a refund despite it not being fit for purpose.

Put this above the canopy above my front door which is very dark at night, this is an excellent alternative to solar or paying someone to fit a permanent light, if you buy decent batteries they last a long time as the light only comes on if anybody approaches your property or you open the front door.

I use these on hallways and stairs to give me light only when and where I need it
