It doesn't have the qualities that you are requesting. What it does, is, makes the hair more manageable, and easier to cope with. If you are looking for a product to feed the hair, I would suggest a product with Keratin in it.

Can you leave this on over night

I haven’t tried so I cannot tell. I’ve had it on for 2-3 hours during the day and had no issues.

Can you use this overnight, pre shampoo?

Why would you coat the hair with this mask, and them shampoo it off. This is such a good product, which coats the hair and smooths the hair strands, making the hair easy to manage. Shampoo the hair, rinse, and then coat the hair with the product , making sure you coat each strand. wait for a few moments and then rinse. You should be pleased with how easy your hair is to manage and how shiny.

I have very fine hair and being an"oldie" would this assist to achieve volume

hi there...i would say that this is more of a detangling and smoothing product and not for volume. I have curly hair when wet and this is great to help it easier to comb through
