Firstly, I required pastry cutters, and this item came up as an option. They are just deep enough for scones, only just. The method of identification for each cutter is poor (use the lid for comparison - which will scratch off over time). I don't believe that £10.00 is VFM.The biggest bugbear was the storage tin for the cutters. Correct size, but it is impossible to get the lid back on, once you have spent 5 minutes removing it..! Anyone with hand mobility and/or dexterity issues will really struggle. It is possible that I have a faulty item, but cannot be bothered to return them. I will just wait until Lakeland is back open after the Covid 19 shutdown.

Although a good variety of sizes these cutters are very flimsy and not very deep. In my view they will have a limited life span if used on anything but the softest material. Even some stiff pastry mixes will challenge them over time.They are not suitable for shaping vegetables or fruits other than the softest kinds.I was also expecting each ring to have their size stamped upon it. They do not!I am still trawling the market for non-flutted cutters made from more substantial stainless steel that do not flex when used.These cutters are not worth the money.

Not a high quality product, but Ok for the price. I won't recommend it as a gift. Does the job, though.
