Really Gutted I haven’t bought a pair of these years ago!! Every time I seemed to do a job at home there is a need to undo something bigger than a traditional spanner set or socket set will accommodate. In this situation I opt for adjustables or mole grips, it’s never ideal especially where there is tight access but eventually it gets the job done. Been looking at these pump wrench’s for a while and wasn’t sure what were the good brands or sizes to go for, so did the normal research and Knipex seems to be the best of the best. I now have the 250 size @ £18.95 which I think is a great price and can say after completing a bathroom refit with these in my tool bag they are the way to go for home diy. After the bathroom refit this so far, has also proven to be the ideal size for home use. They are a pleasure to use and as with all tools that work well they have also been excellent nail removers I am sure a cheaper make or even a set at the same cost would have done the job but what I like is the slimness of the tool which I know in some circumstances will be critical and the added grip strength you feel in your hands. Add the positive review history as well and think I have a tool that will work painlessly for years to come and will probably be passed onto my lads. I don’t think you need a bigger size for home use but there maybe a need for a smaller pair (purely for access) for motor repairs.

Well as are made in Germany I hope these are the real thing as they come just in a clear plastic bag and no box of any kind! these pliers have some play in the hinge although this isn’t really an issue. Grip coating is none slip textured, at 150mm long they slip into your pocket if needed with no issues but be aware that the teeth on the jaws are very sharp!! This will go nicely into the Knipex case that I have bought and with the other wrenches as well those being the 300mm and 250mm and 180mm and the 150mm amazing fingers crossed they will outlast me lol

Brilliant tool - so much better than old water pump pliers. Well built and hugely capacious. Not a bad price for a Knipex product.

Why should you buy from this seller. Everyone knows you can't beat the quality of Knipex so who provides it and at what cost. Hunting around to save a few pennies gives us all a sense of achievement but saving in exchange for incredible service is perhaps short sighted and maybe not worth the effort. Di prodotti Knipex ne ho davvero tantissimi e pur essendo in possesso della Knipex Cobra 250mm, per una questione di comodità e praticità ho deciso di acquistare anche questa versione da 180mm In tutta sincerità, pur essendo entrambi attrezzi di altissima qualità, potendo tornare indietro acquisterei solo questa versione da 180mm perché trovo che sia realmente più manegevole rispetto alla 250mm. L'apertura massima delle ganasce è di circa 6,5cm ed è più che sufficiente per eseguire svariate operazioni sia in meccanica che in idraulica. Sono molto soddisfatto di questo attrezzo e lo consiglio vivamente in tutto e per tutto. Knipex Cobra 87 02 180 - Voto 10 su 10 !!!
