STANLEY 3 Piece Plier Set, Slip Joint/Long Nose/Diagonal Cutting

I do not know what has happened to my pliers, I have looked everywhere so I had to finally give in and buy another set. I looked at the different ones and thought these looked OK, I thought Stanley tools have a reasonable reputation and the price was less than £10 so worth a go. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They seem to be fairly sturdy and when I had to change the toilet seat I ended up using one of these instead of the adjustable wrench that I had bought specifically for the job. Good price for tools I don't use very often but need from time to time, serious users might want something a little more precision.

Having moved home recently I wanted to add to my collection of DIY tools. I have most of the equipment required for the regular DIY and household jobs but lacked any pliers, always borrowing from my dad. I looked at cheaper and more expensive pleir sets and couldn't choose. Eventually I opted for this set as most of my tools are from Stanley. I was not disappointed.They are a lot larger than \i expected and have done well in regular household DIY jobs. They feel like they'll last a lifetime - what more could you want? I'm happy with my purchase. They may not be for the professional, but for average DIYers like me they are just right.

Not much to say they work as expected and feel fairly sturdy and well built

Not the sharpest tool in the box but why would they be there pliers there not designed to be sharp! Overall they do the job and at an affordable price another great product stanley!
