There isn't really much to say about the make of battery that we all know & love. One of the top brands & always reliable, no matter what you're using them for.The only down side is that they don't have the 'power tester' on the side of the battery. But, as far as I'm concerned, that isn't an issue anyway.The plus side is the price. Buying in packs of 2, 4 or 8 would make them a lot more expensive. But, at this price, it's a 'no-brainer'.You'll feel better in the knowledge that you're always going to have those imperative spare batteries when you need them - for a fraction of the price you'd get them at your local shop.Get them while they're reduced, you won't regret it.

good cheapish batteries

I originally gave this product a really bad review. I said the product was terrible and didn't last long at all. I left a review without actually testing the product properly which is my own fault and I feel I should give a fair review.I purchased this product back in April 2013 to use in a mouse I have. Originally I complained and said the batteries only gave me a 10 day life span, well I take my words back. It's now the middle of May 2014 and I still have 8 batteries left. I use 2 each time in my mouse so I'm getting about 5-6 weeks out of my batteries and I use the mouse every day all day which I think is a lot.I have to put my hands up and admit I was wrong. For the price I paid (about £8) this has been a fantastic purchase. I've saved so much money buying them on Amazon rather than in the shops. Sure the shops will sell better quality batteries, however, I was only using mine for a mouse so I thought it was worth the risk.Based on how well these have lasted me over the course of a year I would recommend this product to anyone thinking about buying them.

Although these are good quality genuine Duracell batteries sold at a reasonable price, they are not plus power type as claimed in the product description. Plus power batteries have 50% more power, whereas the batteries supplied by Modern-Tech have 40% more power. Also, the batteries are old stock as the best before date is March 2027 - 81/2 years instead of a 10 year life.OK, I'm nit-picking and the batteries will no doubt do their job; however, I expect to get what is advertised.

I'be been buying this 24 pack for over a year now and they have always been good and reliable.They have never been close to their "use by date", which had been the case with others I had ordered from different sellers, and as I use them mainly for a WiiFit which is used for about 2 hours daily, I'm pleased with the length of use I get from these.They also get used for my landline phone and one of my remote controls so buying 24 batteries at intervals of about 4 months is good usage for me.Getting the postage free is also a big plus.
