The hot cocoa is very good for a powder mix, rich and flavorful. But to "open" one first the first 12 days of December wasnt really possible as they were not individual boxes. Only the middle row is.

Got this for my hot chocolate loving daughter and she loved the different flavors and the overall box presentation. A great advent calendar.

This was supposed to be tea! I wanted tea! But it’s cheezy flavored hot cocoa mixed instead

The packaging is adorable, but the cocoa itself suffers the same problem that store bought Swiss Miss does, that you need to use two packets of cocoa per cup or it's going to taste a little bit watery and bland. Unlike Swiss Miss, you only get one packet of cocoa per flavor, so you can't exactly do that. I managed to solve the problem by only filling my tumbler mug about a little bit over halfway, in which case the cocoa actually tastes pretty decent and good, but it means I get less cocoa. I can see this being a problem for most people, but I don't really drink hot drinks that much and have a habit of forgetting about and not finishing mine when there's too much, so it's a workable solution for me, at least.

The wife loved this! 24 day advent would’ve been a bit much, but 12 days of fun hot cocoa made her smile. Super cute gift that is a bit different than standard chocolate advent.

My husband and I enjoyed trying the various flavors and honestly it is packaged in an appealing way. We intend to make this a tradition.
