AND HERE'S TO YOU MRS ROBINSON
Many critics see this film as Dustin Hoffman's finest, myself I would have tochoose 'Rain Man' he put in an amazing shift in that one. This film see's him play Benjimin Braddock a college graduate who has noparticular future in mind be seduced by married woman Mrs Robinson(Anne Bancroft) which is followed-up for sometime using a hotel room tohide their dirty deeds. However, when the daughter of Mr and Mrs Robinson comes back on theSene Elaine (Katherine Ross) Benjimin's life is turned upside down.Though growing up together prior to college they had never really previouslygot on, but after being encouraged by his parents to go out on a date withElaine he quickly realized she was the 'one'However, when admitting an affair with her mother it looked all over, but,Benjimin couldn't shake-off his feelings for her.Good film, enjoyable watch, last saw it in the late 60's when it was doing therounds. The film includes several Simon and Garfunkel numbers enhancing the enjoymentof the film (was fond of their music)

50th Anniversary Edition Best Buy
The Graduate 50th Anniversary Edition. This 2017 release is sourced from the same 4K restoration of the film that Criterion produced and used for its more recent release of the film in the United States. The Graduate projected on an Optima 51 UHD 4K projector on a 6ft screen certainly looked superb and California certainly lived up to its sunshine state reputation. This film is far better than current American comedies that tend to grate on the more subtle English Palette, it is often amusing and the total lack of the constant deluge of unnecessary bad language is refreshing. The sex scenes are very very discrete and lack of heaving buttocks welcome; what surprised me is that in the UK it has a ‘15’ Certificate..it is fairly tame compared to most ‘15’ films I have seen recently .The German version has a more appropriate ‘12’. There is an excellent selection of extras. I had not seen the film for many years and I was struck by how much Simon & Garfunkel's music made the film, if you removed their songs from the film it would fall totally flat. On reflection I enjoyed seeing the film again....its of another time, personally I would watch it again for the excellent photography but as to the story line it didn’t make me think what a wonderful film that enthralled me.

Brilliant
I'd forgotten how good this film was, and the transfer to Blu-ray is great, I was watching on a 100 inch screen using a video projector and it was still perfect. Very pleased. There are films I watch streaming and ones I want to keep, this is a keeper.

one of my all time favorites
The blocking is incredible. Dustin Hoffman's reaction to the absurdity of the world elevates this far beyond pure satire.

A timeless classic
This movie speaks for itself for those that know of it. Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft are simply amazing. Being a Gen-Y, I stumbled across this movie on one of my streaming apps. I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it, and invited my parents over to watch this on my 77” once I received the blu-ray. They were amazed with how sharp the picture quality is and also the sound. The movie brought back great memories for them. For me, I had to add this movie to my 4K/blu-ray collection. 10/10 not only for the quality of the blu-ray, but also the movie itself.

It's completely baked
I love this film, the awkward moment when your life is supposed to begin, the illusion that you are given choices, and what those choices mean, staring down the barrel of the future, and the barrel is pointed at you. A must film.
