Review: Excellent all-in-one diagnostic tool on the market - D9s pro is more than a diy tool. It's packed with highly advanced features and performs dealer level functions. Wireless vci connectivity range goes far. It's super fast in reading car's modules. It's fairly priced. Xtool customer service have been extremely helpful with getting me some firmware updates for my Mercedes ECU programming. I have owned D7, D8w and now D9s pro. Xtools have make excellent tools and I 100% recommend D9s pro to any independent shop or the diy mechanic.
Review: Great for keys - I use this for several things automotive. It has several functions, some of which I have not been able to get from any other unit such as getting the pin number to program keys on GM vehicles. With 3 years of updates and a platform that doesn't expire I think it is a good value. It is not exceptionally fast it does the trick well. Not hard to use just could be a little more intuitive. I like that it is always getting updates which means they are consistently improving it's abilities and compliance. I also like that it helps you diagnose through the Internet seamlessly. I have used to to diagnose problems with a hybrid vehicle so it's pretty versatile as well. It's worth getting the 12+8 link for Chrysler vehicles which is less than 30 bucks so you have it when you need it for FCA. I would but this again.

Upgraded from the D7W. Favorite is the diagnosis report. Easily customize features on dodge and gmc. Simple features on ford but i have forscan for that. Haven’t had to program or swap modules, yet.
