Silver lines tools I have always found to be good value for money, well made and last reasonably well, they might not be for the professional mechanic but for DIY they are great I have not broken one yet and I have given them some stick from time to time on rusted solid bolts, even giving them a tap with a hammer has not bent the jaws out of shape. They feel nice in your hand not flimsy or to thin,they don't cut into your palm when you use them. The jaw size is good and I find the grip on the bolts to be plenty good enough. I would recommend them

Great quality for the price, logo stamped into the spanner shaft which is a nice touch. Used in a commercial hgv workshop as a backup set. Very happy and would buy again. Better than the other cheap brands I've used in the past

Obviously not the finest quality spanner set by a long way, Probably not for professional full time use, but for occasional car maintenance / hobby / home use they are fine. Have been using them on a regular basis for some months now without any issues. Hav'nt managed to stretch one yet and the chrome finish is still in A1 condition , no flaking or cracking. I have bought several Silverline tools over the last few years and I think they are very good quality tools for the price. The biggest let down is the tool roll they are stored in, this is cheap and nasty and starts to dissintegrate from the first time you unroll it. These spanners come with the usual Silverline "lifetime" guarantee, although having never tried to (or might I say never had to)invoke this guarantee I'm not sure if its worth the paper it's written on. Maybe someone out there can tell me different.

I needed a 21 and 22mm spanner initally, but after seeing this as a "what did others buy after viewing..." I decided to buy this set rather than buying individual spanners over time. This set contains a wide range of sizes including the oddball ones and should be suitable for most jobs tackled by the home mechanic on a car or around the house. Since buying the set I've used several of the other spanners on various car repair jobs. Chances are you will need most of the sizes at some point, so it makes sense to buy this set rather than buying individual spanners as and when required, plus it will work out significantly cheaper in the long run, you get a handy wall pouch and you wont have to wait around or go to the shop each time you need a new spanner size. The spanners all seem good quality, I've used the 32mm in a wheel bearing installation with quite a lot of force with no issues so the material quality seems sufficient. The wall pouch is also good quality and has all the sizes marked on so it's easy to find / store the correct size. For the price this is an excellent set and is backed up by silver lines lifetime warranty, although please note you have to register with silverline within 30 days to activate this which seems a bit sneaky, but registration is pretty straightforward.

This is truly a Superb 25 piece set of extreme quality combination spanners, When you get your hands on these you will see the supreme value for 25 combo spanners all the sizes you will probably ever need being Guarenteed forever means no more spend, Myself personally always buy top-end tools but this set tops the lot, The fact that they are Hardened & Tempered Chrome Vanadium Steel and Polished chrome plate to a Mirror Finish says it all apart from the smallest 6mm.to the largest 32mm at an amazing low low price,I say low low twice because a comparible set would empty your pocket of well over a £100, So grab em while you can before they come to their senses, I hope my comments have helped you make up your mind. Great spanner set. Very well made and good make of tools. Every size I could use plus larger if needed. Good price. All in a store pack that folds up for easy storage in my garage.
