Burt's Bees Red Dahlia Tinted Lip Balm

Love this stuff too much, I have panic attacks when I forget to bring in my pocket!!! It adds just the right amount of colour to my lips without looking like lipstick and keeps my lips moisturised for hours only needs reapplying when I drink or eat etc. plus no nasties or microplastics. Wish these lasted longer tho!!! CANT leave the house without it. Send help.

I bought both the caramel daisy and hibiscus lip balms. They are lovely colours, the caramel I would say is the most subtle, it's perfect if you like a nude look as it's a caramel brown colour. The hibiscus is a delicate red colour with a slight orange tint. They are incredibly moisturising and smell wonderful too. Although they are not the strongest of colours I think they are still noticeable and good if your just looking for a bit of colour.

I hate lipstick and I love Burt's Bees. So since a woman is required to put some effort in I decided that I'd try one of these tinted balms. It's nice! if you're looking for something lightweight but no less vibrant then this is just the ticket! It doesn't have staying power like some of these super-glue lipsticks crafted by space-magic but it doesn't really need it because it's a balm that feels good and does good. Reapplying is one of life's little joys so take it. It's very pink as one might expect from a description like "pink blossom" and thankfully that's in right now. I would only mark it down a star for the fact that the fragrance is a little lacking. It's certainly pinky and blossomy but it also smells the tiniest bit manufactured whereas Burt's Bees honey is divine. But a failure in comparison isn't really a failure at all! I would recommend!

I am obsessed with these balms. The colour lasts a long time and lips don't dry out. This colour was lighter than expected but still lovely. They are a must have for me.

This lip balm is nice. It has a very subtle tint. It’s more flattering than wearing a clear lip balm, but only slightly as my lips are naturally pigmented, if your lips are paler, the colour will be more noticeable. The thing I DIDN’T like about this balm was that it came with a large barcode sticker wrapped around it which was very difficult to remove. In the end I had to scratch it off with scissors, which removed the actual Burts Bees label too. I found this extremely frustrating, as now I have to remember which colour this balm is.

I purchased this in the hopes that it would be the original formula, and it is. The new one has no pigment at all. It is called Red Dahlia, there is no colour to it. Basically you are paying 8 bucks for colourless balm. I was so disappointed when I purchased at the store. Truly delighted that this (purchased from Amazon) is the formula I love, with the right pigment. Burt's Bees, I don't know what you're doing, but please go back to the original because I will not purchase the new formula again.
