Aquaphor MAXFOR B100-25 Replacement Cartridges, Discontinued now see Maxfor+

We are now using this system as our tap water, on a number of occasions, had a very chemical taste. Now we keep the jug topped up by the kettle and the water is perfect. The cartridges last for about a month, not expensive and works well.

Used this prodjct to filter tap water before boiling for tea, coffee etc. Certainy gets rid of a nasty taste the tap water has. Very neat and easy to install in the jug. Good buy.

We have terrible tasting water where we live and have always had to buy bottled water, even having to use it for tea and coffee. Daughter suggested that a water jug with cartridge might be useful. It works tea and coffee are fine, but I don't like the after taste when having a drink of water, so I still use bottled water when I want a glass of water. The reason for trying these cartridges were the reviews and the cost. I have found it quick and easy to use - I still have three more cartridges to use - I may try another brand to see if they are better, if not would be happy continuing to use these.

We couldn’t believe how much this simple jug and filter improved the taste and quality of the water. We used to descale the kettle every few months now the build up of lime scale is imperceptible. Moreover the chlorine aftertaste is gone.

These are very good and fit my Brita water jug.

I have just ordered first lot of these filters (so far we have only used the one that came with filter jug that I purchased a few weeks back.) They do improve our hard chlorinated water and I guess must be doing what they say on the package but I have to say that the make I was using previously produce a better softer tasting water (for us at any rate). Still, pure un-polluted water is what we are after primarily so hopefully all is good :). I just wished that consumers association would do some independent QC on the output of all filter makes.. not seen one yet! The flow rate is very good .. almost to the point when you wonder if they are doing anything. Impressive! Price is okay I have 2 concerns though … 1) Filters all Out of date by 5 months !!… probably doesn’t matter but nonetheless I didn’t expect to see this. 2) the manufacturer box was open and filters bashing around in outer Amazon box.. someone could be fiddling or swapping filters out for fakes for all I know. I am going to be reasonable this time and assume not Overall I assume all is good but I am with this delivery, far from impressed

These are a great set off filters at a great price I can definitely taste a great change in our water 10/10

Ho voluto provare questi sostitutivi delle cartucce originali Brita (confezione da 3) e dopo i primi 40-45 litri di filtraggio, non sto notando differenze tra queste compatibili e quelle originali, eccetto il prezzo più vantaggioso. L'acqua viene filtrata un poco più velocemente, ma non notato anomalie di filtraggio. Il produttore promette 200 litri per cartuccia, vediamo se il gusto dell'acqua rimarrà inalterato dopo i primi 100 litri di filtraggio (le Brita originali durano circa 100 litri). Per il momento, tutto ok. Spedizione veloce e buon imballo completano il tutto.

Ich habe diese Filte zur passenden Kanne gekauft. Wir haben total verkalktes Wasser. Ohne jeden Filter müssen wir unseren Wasserkocher (wir sind Teetrinker) schon nach zwei Tagen entkalken, um nicht Kalkschollen im Tee schwimmen zu haben. Diese Filter gewähren kalkfreies Wasser bis zu knapp vier Wochen. Wir filtern aber auch 2-4 Kannen am Tag. im Gegensatz zu Bio-Aqua und Brita, etc. ist das Filterergebnis in Sachen Kalk wirklich wesentlich besser. Was andere mögliche Schadstoffe im Wasser angeht, so kann ich mir darüber kein Urteil erlauben. Dazu wären Untersuchungen eines chemisch-technischen Institutes notwendig. Wenn, wie bei meinem Vorredner jedoch gar kein Wasser durchläuft, dann ist es wohl eher eine Fehlproduktion und sollte zurückgeschickt werden. Bei unseren Filtern ist das bislang nicht vorgekommen und wir benutzen sie nun schon ein halbes Jahr. Wir sind wirklich zufrieden, alle anderen Lösungen, einschließlich Hausentkalkungsanlage waren immer ein Flop in Sachen Kalk.

Recientemente compré un Depósito de Agua BRITA Optimax. Para comprobar que realmente había una mejora del agua, compré un medidor de conductividad y total de sólidos disueltos. Pasado un mes tocó remplazar el filtro Bitra y decidí probar los filtros de Aquaphor Maxfor, más económicos que los de Brita y también alemanes. En mi casa el agua del grifo tenía 309 ppm. El agua filtrada con Brita salía con 235 ppm. Sin embargo, tras hacer el cambio de filtro y hacer el proceso de activación que más o menos describen con imágenes en en envoltorio (sumergirlo durante 10 minutos y filtrar el agua del depósito 2 veces, que yo lo hice más) lo más que conseguí del agua filtrada fue 287 ppm... O sea, prácticamente nada. Por supuesto, lo que voy a hacer ahora mismo es comprar otro filtro Brita
